This is another head in my hand photo because parenting is just hard work sometimes. My five year old just had an hour tantrum during my lunch break from work over something I can’t even remember the start of now. It brought me pretty close to tears myself. Now I’m looking at the closing of my work afternoon and thinking of all the other parents who’ll have to deal with tantrums today (I bet I’m not out of the woods for the day, yet, either!) My writing advice for today is to get to it for fifteen minutes, despite the noise (and the tantrums).
