HEY, NOW THAT THE PEDOPHILE AND ABUSE-ENABLER GEORGE PELL IS DEAD, LETS ALL STREAM TIM MINCHIN'S SONG COME HOME CARDINAL PELL.
If you've not heard it, Australian songwriter Tim Minchin wrote it back when there was an investigation into historic child abuse that was committed by members of the Australian catholic Church, and George Pell spent years actively obstructing the investigation by fleeing to Rome so that he didnt have to give evidence, and repeatedly refusing to return to Australia to testify as to what he knew of the abuse. His excuse was that he was too sick to fly, but he was independently vetted by multiple doctors as being perfectly fine to make the journey home. He just didn't want to, because he knew damn well that he was complicit.
It was a fantastic song then, and it's an EVEN BETTER SONG NOW THAT THE OLD SHITBAG IS DEAD. And I reckon that getting it trending in response to the news of his death is the BEST possible tribute anyone could make.
