How it feels, being involved in Australian politics right now:
Tadeusz Soplica jest mega overhated jako postać (nie jako protagonista, o ile można go nim w ogóle nazwać). On jest faktycznie ciekawą i wyróżniającą się postacią. Przynajmniej dla mnie......
Chłop sie boi sie konfrontacji. Jest odważny, ale nie w każdym aspkecie. Stanie w obronie, jeśli ktoś obraża to, co mu bliskie. Ale jest też nieśmiały przy kobietach. Mimo, że lata studiował i edukował się pod nadzorem surowego wychowawcy - manier i kultury go jakoś na studiach nie nauczono. (W zasadzie to to nadal się podtrzymuje. Mamy wielu ambitynych i wykształconych ludzi, którzy nie potrafią np. obrać ziemniaków, albo prania rozwiesić (znam parę przykładów z prawdziwego życia)).
Rzadko widzi się takie cechy w głównych, meskich postaciach (might I ad.. w tamtych czasach w Polsce). Miałam wrażenie, że mało go było w książce. Awięc Mickiewicz stworzył social anxiety-coded postać, a nikt z nas się nie połapał XDDDD
