Finding a skirt, specifically, that will fit you is pretty easy to do online. Just find something roughly in your size category with an elastic waistband. Dresses and such that’s fitted can be a bit more complicated, but for skirts specifically you don’t need to stress yourself about sizing.

And early on in my transition I definitely a few times told my folks “hey I’m ordering some clothes off amazon lmk when it arrives and I’ll come get it,” and they never bothered to open the boxes. You can even get a skirt alongside some other clothes if you want to have plausible deniability about a shipping mixup or whatever.

You're not overstepping at all. Half the reason I make those posts is to solicit advice from people who know what they're doing (or at least kind words from people who want to help).

And...to be honest, part of why I was worried about shipping a skirt is that I usually don't buy clothes online (and never women's clothes, obviously), so I wasn't confident they'd just show up in a normal Amazon box. Hearing someone say "I did that, it's fine" helps a lot!

Mm, see, initially I probably would have agreed with you, but I increasingly think that it shouldn't be cast away for the reasons I've said in my last two replies on the topic. Lestat's not a person who's saying something glibly, he's a character who is being written by an author with an intention, and the fact that his connection to New Orleans is explicitly said in the way that it is when there were plenty of other ways to get the sentiment across with no mention of gender is definitely open to interpretation, but it is also explicit text and shouldn't be ignored. For the record, in isolation, I truly don't think it's that deep, and I do think it's more a reflection of Lestat's connection to the city than his connection to gender, but I also think that it's meant to sit still within a part of the broader picture / context of Lestat, particularly as the first look at the real him, and his last scene of s2, y'know?

I think, for some, it's automatic or its because their MC is a he/she/they.

Regardless, I always try to answer the questions with an all-round gender selection.

In my game; Yes, the MC is gender selectable. Their sex (as in their physical part) is decided if you picked the options that mentioned which body part MC is born with.

And I know Allyn is potentially agender but I don't know the orientations and genders of any of the other characters! Except I think Krista is gay?

Danny and Nate are both cis gay men. Ryan is pansexual cis. Ora is nonbinary genderqueer and demisexual. Bram and Ashley, well... Bram keeps and kills men and he fell in love with one, but his history is long and very varied over seven centuries. Ashley kills men but prefers to let women live.

Dr. Rosa is a cis lesbian.

Dr. Berger is a straight cis woman.

Kauri is gay. Jake is bisexual.

Chris is biromantic asexual.

Antoni is genderfluid but he doesn't really know that yet. He'll get there. He is also aromantic and gray-ace.

Laken is nonbinary and is pansexual.

Allyn is nonbinary/agender. They did not know this but Jameson is basically exactly their type.

Leila was straight cis. She doesn't appear much.

Krista is a lesbian and she is so sweet and I should have her reappear sometime.

Izzy Gallagher is also a lesbian.

Eli is bisexual but he hasn't really ever understood that. It was never an option he was given.

Nine is Eli-sexual more or less.

Nova is a lesbian, Sarita is straight.
