how estranged are Hazel and Hades in no love? like does she even bother telling him? would she do it over text or through Nico? does the kid just see grandpa Hades for Christmas and birthdays or not at all? how is grandma zhang going to react??? is she going to love Hazel or does Hazel have to win her over? you are under no obligation to answer any of these questions I’m just excited
she canonically works at seph's flower shop part time! so they are occasionally forced to acknowledge that each other exists, but if not for that, I think hazel would be happy to pretend she was born without the assistance of a father, and hades probably treats her more like an obligation than as a daughter. i think telling him wouldn't even cross her mind, and the chances of them both being invited to the same function are so slim that honestly baby and hades may never meet unless there's some like emergency babysitting situation where seph has to watch the baby for a day and hades comes home like "whos baby is this. where did you get that."
i have so little memory of what grandma zhang is that i have no idea!! all i really remember is that shes Loaded and fakes her death at the end of SON or whatever. i do love your idea of frank's legal name being fai so hazel probably learns this the first time she meets grandma. its possible that hte first time they make the trip up to see her, grandma treats hazel like royalty bc shes carrying future of the zhang family tree and she fully ignores frank bc she's pissed at him, possibly even unrelated to how he's handling this situation
im also just now realizing that baby levesque-zhang is going to have a hell of a time in kindergarten. wont even be able to start working on their coloring page bc they'll spend the whole class agonizing over how to spell their own name (<- guy who spent kindergarten with a 4-letter first name and 5-letter last name who didnt learn how to spell their legal first name until 2nd grade)
