Jon Kent and the Horrors he befriended.. the Horrors being Gar

He goes analog horror mode when overwhelmed and can only be cured by comfort. This frightens Jordan, not Gar, but the fact Jon is completely unfazed
Since I haven't (affectionately) bugged you in a while, maybe Garf and Jonny-Boy with "grabbing each other's hands in crowds or when crossing the street to "be safe"" or "fixing the other's hairstyle to let their hands run through their partner's hair" (they can either be together or just best friends, both are good !!)

Gar sat crisscrossed before their best friend, with dark blue nail polish in hand, and they carefully started to paint Jon’s nails. “Wow, you’re really good at this.” Jon smiled.
Gar grinned as they kept painting, “I used to paint Rachel’s nails all the time in Titans Tower.” They explained, “I even painted mine a couple of times.”
Jon looked up with a smirk, “I bet you look good with painted nails. Any color would look good on you.” Superboy flirted with a smirk.
Gar’s heart skipped a beat, a purr erupting from their chest.
Jon smiled, wanting nothing more than to lean over and kiss them, but that would surely mess up his crush. “You’re cute.” He whispered, hoping Gar wouldn’t hear.
Gar smiled and laughed lightly, “I heard that.” They then looked into Jon’s eyes, “Don’t worry, I think you’re cute too.”
Jon blushed as he looked down, focusing on Gar’s work, “So, w-would you maybe wanna go out on a date with me? Like to a cafe or something like that?”
Gar grinned as they finished with Jon’s left pinkie, “I’d love to, Jon.” They beamed before getting up and kneeling behind Jon, nuzzling into his neck like a cat.
Jon laughed as he closed his eyes, about to subconsciously fix his hair, but stopped, “Don’t worry, I’ll fix your hair.” They laughed before pulling back and running their hand lightly through Jon’s curls, “There we go.” They whispered before kissing his shoulder.
If it were anyone else, Jon would have yelled, but since it was Gar, all he could do was blush, “Thank you, Gar.”
Gar purred, “You’re welcome, Sanshain.”

5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?
I have one specific song for each guy that's been THEIR song since the beginning. No other songs can compare, these songs are just them and I can't listen to either normally anymore.
Monster by STARSET for Gar. To me it's a perfect mixture of Gar's rage towards Niles for what he did to him and hopelessness that he's stuck like this forever, the person in the mirror is a monster and there's nothing he can do about it which turns into hate towards himself and his powers.
Superkid by Livingston for Jon. This was one of the first songs I listened to when the Jon brainrot was setting in so it has great memories attached to it, and phew! when I first heard it I crumpled. I mean, with these lyrics:
"So, hide your face, smile at the people even if it's fake, cause they can't know your kryptonite. Fly around the city, make em think you're fine."
Who else am I supposed to think about? 😭
6. What's something you have in common with this character?
Gar gets sad and unmotivated to do anything when he's alone too long.. and almost everything about Jon. Jon is my "he's like me fr" character, which is funny because I usually hate characters that remind me of myself
14. Assign a fashion aesthetic to this character.
Gar has a more skater boy style (with some pastel colors thrown in), while Jon is complicated because he doesn't have a set style. He's into fashion, but he likes to experiment with his outfits and doesn't stick to one vibe. Though he usually looks like he just stepped off a runway, even when wearing something casual. This quote from Escapism is the best way to describe what I mean: "It seemed too simple for Jon, yet somehow made Gar feel underdressed at the same time."
Jon comes home with a cast on his newly broken nose and Jordan's just "dude?? Wtf happened??" which Jon replies, very casually but amused, with "Gar sneezed and I was too close"
It's been five years and I'm still unwell about Jonathan Kent. Almost seven years being unwell about Gar Logan too. These two wiggled their way into my brain, made a nest, and never left. They're chilling in there together like two butterflies. I'm afraid I'm never gonna be normal about those two sorry if you believed one day i'd not wanna scream cry and claw at the walls when I thought about them for too long
