GardenPaws
I recently discovered a game called GardenPaws.
You inherit a home from your grandparents who are now off traveling the world (sound familiar?) and although you do build, you are primarily a shop owner that sells things you grow and collect.
But despite the game’s similarities to other cozy games it definitely has its own unique charm. You should check it out!
Note: The game actually has better graphics than those in these screenshots, but these were adjusted to be such with inferior graphic settings available in the options menu for those with less fancy machines to play the game more smoothly. You can actually pick from an assortment of forest creatures for your avatar as well, not just a little white kitty like I picked. :)

Aid Frank and Mayor Wilson in building up the town. Collect resources and coin to commission new buildings, each bringing unique Upgrades, Shops, Quests and more! The game is available on PC and will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
