Okay, so...MatPat. You know the new Security Breach trailer? Well...it’s got me thinking, and I have a little FNAF theory of my own. I told you this on Twitter, but I’m posting it here for an extra measure and more details (the Twitter word count limit sucks). Scroll down all the way for a summary if you don’t want to read all of the details, lol.

There’s two parts:

1. The VR headset you’re in during Help Wanted is in the mall we see in the trailer and art for Security Breach? Aka: Maybe the Security Breach mall has a FNAF themed store in it with a VR attraction. You never know! 😁

2. If the first part is true (this is far-fetched in the first place, especially seeing that the original FNAF series’ animatronics are possessed by children, besides Springtrap and the toy animatronics), then perhaps Glitchtrap (William Afton’s consciousness or something) uses the VR headset as a gateway into the mall and then proceeds to possess the Glamrock animatronics. That’s why we can hear one of the animatronics talk in the trailer, unlike the rest of the animatronics. The only other times we hear an animatronic coherently talk is with Funtime Freddy and Circus Baby, but that was all just programming. Springtrap is basically just William Afton, so that’s why Springtrap can talk. And if Springtrap can talk, and we hear Vanny talking to someone...and then the only other voice we hear says that they were found (even if he’s not saying it to Vanny), then maybe that was William Afton. Glitchtrap won’t be in Security Breach because Glitchtrap is only a virtual avatar. And the voice can’t be a kid, because none of the other games have the kid-possessed animatronics talk coherently at all...at least not out loud. All we can hear is breathing and giggling in the original series.

So, to summarize:

1. Maybe the Security Breach mall has the Help Wanted VR headset as an attraction in one of its stores.

2. Perhaps William Afton uses that VR headset as a gateway into one or more (or all, over time) of the animatronics.

But hey...that’s just a theory! A GAME THEORY! 😂
