so I just had a thought
im a school teacher and was rewatching some classic magic school bus for lesson ideas.
what made the adventures so cool was seeing things close up that you could not see in the real world. Like traveling through space or going inside a plant.
what if we used VR tech to make virtual magic school bus style adventures? where students plug in and then can experience the same kinds of amazing educational stuff?
it could even have a multi player aspect so the whole class could learn and work together.
imagine transforming into a reptile or flying in a tiny airplane or traveling through the human digestive system.
my student would learn so much!
Since I've been playing more vrchat I wanted to actually do the vr element of it instead of desktop and recommendations for gear in that sense.
I'd recommend the Vive or Index! I currently use an Index
I've just gotta say I got a VR headset the other day and the very first thing I did was visit the Enterprise (first the -D from the Steam Environment list, then the TOS set recreation from same and finally the forbidden/deleted from the internet virtual tour Enterprise-D). And the first thing I noticed was that everything's way smaller than it looks on TV/film.
Kirk could smack Sulu or Chekov in the back of the head sooooo easily if he wanted. Picard's ready room is cosy. There's a guy doing the Gangnam Style dance at the bottom of the warp core shaft.
I am Indecisive.
Alright so I’m looking into buying an new VR headset, but I’m hung up between two headsets. I can’t deside if I want the Valve Index or the Vive Cosmos Elite.
I need some help. Between the two headsets which is better and worth buying more?
They are both real expensive so I want to make this purchase worth it. I am mainly leaning toward the Valve Index just because it has the best specs in a VR headset out there, but its $1000.
Try to convince me either to buy the Index or to consider the other option.

Sometimes I just create random character designs. Here I created “Gamer Girl Gwen”. I think it started with her VR hearts headset. https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/68299567 https://www.instagram.com/p/CEMKzAoHdnL/
