I've been playing lots of remnant 2 recently. And it's real interesting playing a video game that seems to have flaws. Cus I view certain aspects that way. Like they'll put a you in a cramped hallway with a bad guy whose attacks reach wall to wall. Like you didn't even give this fella room to exist, and sure as hell didn't give me room to evade them.
And then I'm like God how could you possibly play this multiplayer? There's barely enough room for me and an enemy to share a room
And the only way forward is to dodge all the attacks. And then the enemy does a seven hit combo when I only can do like four dodges in a row max. And every enemy is twice as fast as me.
I find ways to circumvent the limits of the situation. It's really cool! Or perhaps it's luck.
Some of the map design seems rather odd too. There will be a splitting path that merges together again like half a hallway later. And there's not much down either path.
I suspect some of these critiques are explained by the semi random generation of each world. Parts must be able to interchange.
