First day of October! And to celebrate it we would like to introduce the great Galatrona by Petrolo.

Galatrona is made only from Merlot grapes coming from the estate’s vines of the early 90’s. The yield per plant is notably limited allowing the concentration of all the noble components of the grape fundamental for the great structure, elegance, balance and persistence wanted for this wine. It's an intense wine of great structure and complexity lovely balance between acidity, fruit and tannins.

이탈리아 토스카나 지방에서 메를로 포도를 이용해 만드는 갈라트로나의 2003년 빈티지. 매해 13,000병 정도 밖에 만들지 않기 때문에 희귀한 와인으로 매해 평론가 점수 90점 이상, 왠만하면 95점 정도를 획득하는 와인이다.

Fattoria Petrolo는 와이너리이기도 하지만 올리브 오일도 만들고, 수영장이 딸린 호텔이기도 해 숙박도 가능하다고 한다. 포도밭이 31헥타르, 올리브밭이 19헥타르 정도 된다고 한다.
