Fyedka ran into the small building that he almost felt like a second home to him. The booksellers. A place where Fyedka felt at peace & safe, away from talk of war or the tsar. See, the Russian had discovered this place many years ago when he was still a preteen & had gotten many books there ever since. He prided himself on being able to stumble through some Yiddish which was a fairly impressive feat for someone learning entirely on their own with only the help of a few books. There were many things Fyedka enjoyed about the booksellers. He enjoyed the books, reading, learning… but most of all he enjoyed being able to see her. The beautiful yet mysterious girl that Fyedka always seemed to see there. He thought she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He had only recently figured out her name, Chava, & now he couldn’t seem to get it out of his head.
Everyone needs to be reminded that Chava & Fyedka are a great couple too & are incredibly adorable.
