Breadminster’s Elijah Minnelli presents a new collaborative project with outsider artist and Zàchmanién woodwind player LANSIED NECHDELANI,“ze-hood de-sham lichdal” (“I Hope The Goats Come Back”)  which comes as part of a Breadminster County Council initiative to provide internet to towns around the world with similar population sizes to that of Breadminster. Elijah and Lansied first met online and were able to collaborate via the newly created broadband connection to Lansied’s hometown; Elijah took an immediate shine Lansied’s style, admiring his minimalist approach and 'accomplished naivety', using it to form the melodic basis of this bass-driven, melancholic 'call to the sky.' The title of the track translates to “I Hope The Goats Come Back," and speaks of Lansied’s worry at the sudden recent pilgrimage of the local herd. These Biblical undertones both resonate sonically within the track and coincide with the tracks release date; that of the Jewish High Holy Days The B-side is a full live Dub cut performed by Elijah, who deconstructs the track into a pseudo-spiritual nothingness that scuttles happily around the speakers.

Breadminster-based DJ/Producer Elijah Minnelli has been making a splash in the world of broadcasting thanks to his monthly show on Soho Radio. Elijah’s previous release “Bebé Durmiendo Cumbia” saw his left-field dubby production being played on radio and championed by the likes of Andrew Weatherall and Laurent Garnier. Elijah’s unique angle, which champions vintage calypso/mento/cumbia/beguine alongside left-field dub & reggae cuts, has cemented him a cult fan-base consistently placing him in the top 10 of Mixcloud’s Global ska chart.
