Just when you think it’s done...you realize you still have challenges to complete. I had to get my Mack book repaired and all. Through this journey you never truly stop learning. I've since graduation have read 3 books already so learning never really is over especially with living into your purpose and it becomes living out life to become the best version you can be.

This month in Writing for Interactive Media I was literally tracking all the events around me to get the best coverage and discern which live event to cover. I managed to get my main project kicked off with Rachel Parish and her team here in Atlanta with the Little 5 Arts Alive and a host of other talented artist and musicians. We covered so much production in one day, I was able to track out a lot of the musicians in the make music day event. I managed to keep everything under control with the flow of work and the timing of my articles.

The great thing that I like about Full Sail and it’s institution is that when you want to refresh and use some of the creative content based ideas in a project you can literally jump right into applying the projects toward your body of work. I also want speak on the way the program is structured, I like the premise of graduated learning. The only thing that I see could be changed in the program is running those of us that are creatively inclined back though the program with a course such as interactive media based writing so that we leave with the energy and intent to continually find live events perpetually.

One thing about getting challenged in your lane of skill is that you realize that your strength comes from the times that you get knocked down and still manage to find willpower to get back up. Social media metrics really worked my staying power especially with regard to refocusing the SMART goals and system of logical application around it. That's the prime thing I want to be able to express leaving this training evolution. (SMART) goal is an acronym that stands for specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely. When you're looking for direct results these type of goals can even be used and applied into everyday life. 

Equally powerful is being able to show a company direct results and how services rendered compliment and expand the momentum of the brand as a whole. I think the only thing that I was not fond of were the ROI projections without true analytics being in place before the event promotion or campaign. Social media is the reigning contender of gaining brand awareness and if you understand how to masterfully apply skill, and focus to increase awareness you are bound to launch awesome campaigns every time.

This portion of the program seems to be the most dynamic especially since there is a lot of newer technologies used to track goals and the KPI’s revolving them. I think the biggest advantage is being able to use technology and other tools such as google analytics to be able to know exactly how a social media campaign is progressing. Something that could be added to Facebook’s metrics are more trackable details that help the data miner gain insight without having to leave the insights panel and this could be a gamechanger for any presentation related to quick access of KPI’s.
