âGood grief AaronâŚâ
Christine had been watching these reports for months, so many explosions with his face plastered all over it. Â âSeems the boy finally grew into the spotlight.â Â Tracking him was no easy feat and today she was going to make her way to a large empty building, a previous meat market that had been bought out and the owner mysteriously disappeared. Â It had Aaronâs earmarks all over it, quiet and expensive. Â With any luck she would find him this time and not just the occasional body left behind.
Exiting the subway system, walked down the building in question.  She stood for a moment and admired the water for a moment before approaching the entrance and⌠a man standing out front.  This was different.  âIâm looking to talk to your boss.â
âProbably not a good idea lady, now you need to get out of here.â
Growling quietly, she walked forward and pressed the goon against the wall with her powers, listening to him scream as the walls gave way under the force she was using.  âI will not ask again.  If you want to stay separated from this wall, I suggest you take me in!â  Letting him fall to the ground, she smiled when he scurried up and led her inside.  Christine ignored the stares of the other men that were busy doing⌠whatever they were supposed to be doing.  They few that leered at her had the displeasure of their face finding the floor before they reached the offices.
âIâve got it from here thanks. Â If he shoots me, it wonât hurt for too long.â Â Shooing the man away she simply walked into the office with a broad grin on her face, almost hoping she surprised him enough to shoot. Â
âWell, well, well. Â Look who thought he could just slip away from me, The Joker himself. Â Howâs it going puddinâ?â Â
