Marceline collapsed, exhausted into a chair. “Yeah- it was- bad.” He admitted, solemnly. He’d walked away mostly unscathed, but the deal had gone sideways and it was… a blood bath. He didn’t even get what he needed out of it.

7. Does your muse have the potential to be a loving parent? The question addresses their ability to feel a child’s emotional needs, not the muse’s ability to physically procreate.

Oh man. This one is a hard one because Blackfire is biased with someone she’d want to procreate with. It’s canon that she’s birthed children with Glrdlskletchhh, to which she feels no emotional connection to what-so-ever; as they have shown in the mini sketch that Blackfire indented to abandon them.

They’ve also attempted eating her when Starfire came to visit to “babysit” while Blackfire “went out”. (Blackfire was planning to have her babies eat her sister while disguising herself as Starfire) unfortunately, her plan backfired.

So, I digress!

To have Blackfire become somewhat emotionally connected with the child, it all depends on the father. If Blackfire loves the father of her children unconditionally, she’s going to be something of a “decent” parent? Mostly showing this child love and affections, but also conditioning them to have a mind like hers, and raise them on hate and vengeance.

If Blackfire hates the father, she wants nothing to do with the child. In more hostile situations, she’d likely want them dead, and she will ensure it happens.

It is rare for Blackfire to want a child with anyone, as she hates everything living or dead. So if she wants a child with someone, they are special. They are hers. And she wants to make more of that person.

In my Gotham verse, Blackfire has told a certain psychotic, murderous, staple face that she wants their child ( @nothingmorecontagious ). Of course he turned down her offer, telling her to go steal one instead. (THEY WOULD MAKE HORRIBLE, AWFUL PARENTS OMG. The poor child would be living in a nightmare and probably be really numb to everything.) And now Blackfire is determined to get him to inseminate her someday kldsjgkladj

I ALSO. HC. That this man is Blackfire’s son. He’s an interesting topic.

For one, the mask. What does it represent? Two, he doesn’t call himself the “jester”. Only the public address him as such. No one knows his real name, nor does he speak. And three, he only treats women, children, and people interested in his art with kindness.
