The From the Ground Up 2023 edit is done!

From the Ground Up tells the story of a Link and Zelda as they rebuild their lives and their relationship in a fledgling and politically fraught Hyrule post-Calamity, going to the edges of the world and their own abilities to do so. Is it time for Hyrule’s swan song, or are there still tales to tell? 

Six years after finishing this giant mess (245k words!), I’ve given it an overhaul edit to tidy up continuity, characterisation, theming, spelling/grammar and tie it into Tears of the Kingdom.

So in Aug I entered FTGU - Luxury Hotel on SimPearls and shared 1st Place with another participant who’s hotel was amazing so happy to share the win.

Here are some pictures from my entry and the download link for those who have asked for it. 

The Cascades Hotel  - South Africa

Since I built this for a challenge the lot is not playable as a hotel as is. Meaning if you want to play it, you need to change it to a hotel and add the necessary things eg: Hotel Doors etc. 

I have only furnished the ground floor, the other floors are created but not furnished.  

NB There are some objects in the pictures above outside that are hood deco so when you place this lot and don’t see those objects that is why. I added them after I built the lot and have a mod to allow hood deco objects to be placed on lots and be visible in lot view.
