This is a large, modern home with lots of space for your sims to relax, both indoors and out!

The living space is a bit broken up due to the stacked-blocks shape, but that should keep things interesting (and hopefully not too annoying).

Fun fact: This is a rebuild of a lot that I made back in 2010. I built this lot and the original lot that became the Towering Brick Estate right next door to each other back then. They were supposed to be similar in shapes (blocks), yet different styles (modern vs. more classic). If you noticed these 2 lots have similar layouts, this is why. 😄

Here’s what’s on the different levels of this home, and a top-down view of what they look like:

First floor: Kitching/dining room, living room, game room, bathroom.

Second floor: Master bedroom, office nook, lounge, bathroom, family room/office, gym.

Third floor: 2 kid/teen bedrooms, 1 bathroom.

I’ve run this home through the Lot Compressor and the Lot Cleaner so any random references to sims that aren’t there should be removed. I also added a spiffy custom thumbnail so it has even more curb appeal in your Lots and Houses bin. 🌟

This home is nearly CC free. It only has two items, and these can easily be replaced or omitted if you don’t want them.

This luxurious brick house is a towering 3-story estate for your rich sims. It features a pool, pool-house, and a large, fenced back yard. I’ve shared the download link at the bottom of this post, so keep scrolling down for that. 😊

It is fully furnished and has plenty of activities to keep a large family busy.

Here is the first floor: It includes the living room, kitchen and dining area, garage, and pool house.

Second floor:  This floor has a child bedroom and bathroom, a family room, and a master suite with bathroom en-suite.

Third floor:  This floor has lots of room for exploring your sims’ hobbies, as well as a guest bedroom, half-bath, and another small bedroom that could be used a nursery. (You’ll have to pick that crib up and place it straight against the wall since I found out cribs are unusable on the diagonal after the fact).

This home does have one flaw. Since I used gates and pillars right along the edge to make the tall fence the game seems to have issues keeping them with the lot on the right side when it saves. I used the ‘setquartertileplacement on’ , and the ‘moveobjects on’ cheats to place them. It is easy to add the wood pillars back in, but it is something you will need to do every time you reload the house, or you’ll just end up with a bunch of iron gates lining that side of the lot (See the picture below). I hope you will still love this lot and get enjoyment from playing with it despite this issue.

Update 2025: Despite being built on a brand new lot, this house was infected with the SDHB, and I couldn't seem to get rid of it until I changed the fencing from hanging slightly off the lot to being entirely within the lot grid. This means the look has changed slightly from what I shared originally, but I think the adjustments still fit within the aesthetic of "large and imposing brick mansion". 😂

You can see the changes in the picture below. I moved the side fences in one block, added a fancy low hedge, and took out the gates at the back and replaced them with the wrought iron fence. You can use "move objects on" to place gates along the back wall of the lot when you play, if you wish.

This classic Colonial-style home has shuttered windows, multiple fireplaces, and a beautiful garden area. It even has a modern attached garage! This lot is unfurnished except for basics (kitchen and bathrooms).

The back of the property has a secluded sitting area for your sims to enjoy peaceful evenings in nature.

This is what the floor plan looks like. Colonial floorplans are typically pretty basic, which should make house easy to play, and your sims should be able to navigate it well.

I lost the file showing how I built the "Cozy Bloom" house. However, I already have a video of me playing in it on my channel; you can watch it here.

This is a quaint country cottage based on actual house plans that I built for my Sims 2 game years ago. This past week I completely rebuilt and refurnished it! 

It’s a 2 bedroom home, but it has an office that can be turned into an optional bedroom if you need more space. 

The living room and kitchen area are rather small however, so I see this house being more suited to elder sims or young couples who don’t plan on having large families.

Speaking of the kitchen, what it lacks in dining space it makes up for in counter space! The lot comes with the bar-style seating you see in the picture above,

however, if you wish, you can remove the bar and place a small dining table instead.

Upstairs are the 2 bedrooms: A spacious master bedroom, and a small guest bedroom. Since this lot uses almost no CC you get a duplicate rug from downstairs. 😆

This home uses the Maxis Match Wall Cabinets by CTNutmegger, and the Chimney Recolors: Masonry Set by Kimsie over on ModtheSims.

This magnificent log cabin resort home is situated on a steeply sloping beach lot. It is surrounded by towering Fir trees, and has its own private dock!

The 2 main levels have areas for gathering, a large kitchen, and cozy fireplaces. There is also a spacious dining room overlooking the lake. At the top of the home is a large bunk room that sleeps 4. The bottom level of this cabin has two separate suites with their own private bathrooms.

Outside there is plenty of space for picnicking, sunbathing, and swimming with your family. This cabin is open year-round and is a great place to spend your summer or winter holidays.

This house has no custom content, but it requires all EPs and SPs.

Some additional notes about this lot:

I used the “SetQuarterTilePlacement on” cheat to position a few things on this lot. If your sims get stuck, or the lounge chairs are not usable, you can simply delete the chairs and re-place them, or turn that cheat on by hitting ctrl-shift-c and entering SetQuarterTilePlacement on in the cheat box at the top of your screen. Then after hitting enter, press ctrl-f to activate it. Move the item until it’s not blocking whatever it was before. press ctrl-f to turn the cheat off. I don’t anticipate that you’ll run into this issue, but just in case you do, hopefully this helps.

ReShade. I recently installed this program following the info in this Reddit thread. I am not the most adept at using it yet, but there’s a slight possibility that the saturation and texture sharpness of the game may be slightly improved by this addition. If you wish to install ReShade on your computer, be warned that this is a more involved process. Unfortunately, I do not have time to help you figure it out. (I’m still not quite sure how I managed to get it working on my computer haha!)
