Tapping one finger against the other, the only real sign of her nerves, as she waited for her OB-GYN, Beth took a deep breath. She was sure the test wasn’t a false positive especially as suddenly her almost constant nausea made sense, but there was always going to be that little edge of nervousness before she knew everything was okay. “You have everything packed?” It would be a long quest and then a few weeks spent tailing a kid suspected to be a child of some god or another. It seemed easy enough but Nico prepared just as thoroughly, he was never a fan of surprises but not fool enough to think they never happened. He eyed the daughter of Ares, shrugging on his pack. 

With fresh dirt on her mind, Imogen headed over to Veronica’s dorm. There was no one else she wanted to talk to when these types of things came up, and with all the drama from the brunch, Veronica was bound to have some good gossip as well. Imogen wanted to tell her friend about everything that had happened, her conversations with Silva and Beaux, and all the drama she had witnessed between the two societies. If she could trust anyone with her concerns about Pax Aurea, it was Veronica. She didn’t know for sure, but she hoped her friend wouldn’t tell anyone about any of the things they had talked about. Imogen wouldn’t be telling anyone, that was for certain. 

She knocked on Veronica’s door. “Hey, it’s Imogen,” she said, “I brought snacks.”
