Fairy Tail chapter 462
Daaaaaaamn! This chapter got me! I mean... Seriously... All of our favorite guilds united as one in a war against Zeref (at first I wanted to write "a war against evil" but let's be honest here... It's more complicated than that!😂) And then... Laxus and the Raijinbaes 😍! I love it when he shows his softer side, y'know, he does know what love is and he seems pretty pissed about the possibility of losing his friends! And then... Lucy and Brandish! I'm really starting to think that Brandish really wanted to be captured - not just because of an evil plan or whatever but rather because she seems to be kinda afraid of Lucy (this must've got something to do with Layla - maybe they've been friends... I really do think that Layla kicked ass [or still kicks - who knows?). Going on to one of my favorite BROTPS: Lucana!!! Damn, those two always give me the feels. Cana is just such an amazing character and I'm happy about the way Mashima makes Lucy and Cana's interaction seem so effortless yet meaningful (not in some kind of deep-soulmate-connection-thing or whatever but rather in an earnest way to portray friendship how it's just supposed to be: two people having each other's backs! Aaaargh, I love this chapter! I don't want to forget this gorgeous scene, in which Gray mentions that they'll meet Lyon again (Gryon BROTP! ... Is this even a thing? 😂) and Juvia just being Juvia is like:"Who the fuck needs Lyon when one can have Gray-sama?!" 😂 LOVE IT! And then... The FUCKING wizard saints? Yeessssssssss, my dream's about to come true! I just want to see them fight, like, for real! I want to see a real fight with a worthy enemy! 😍 (*music starts playing in the background*: "I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it!🎶🎶🎶) Even though I honestly think that Laxus could've/would've/should've been part of this team after defeating Jura in the Grand Magic Games... I hope he'll get his time to shine with his 'new team' then. He deserves it and I firmly believe he'd totally nail it! And then... Mavis and Zeref... Baaaaaam! In yo face! Their interaction is just so... Their dynamics are just very, very interesting! Let's see what'll happen next! And last but not least... Natsu storming forward to defeat Zeref on his own? It's such a Natsu move!! That's just so typical for him 😂 and I have to admit I really like it this time! I mean, it's probably the least clever and intelligent but most stupid move one can make but well... It's Natsu we're talking about after all, eh? 😂 somebody has to push the storyline forward and if not Natsu... Who else?
