#frustrating!

Silksong's visuals are at odds with the text, and the result is two contradicting stories where the sum is less than its parts. I don't know what to make of it.

Cursing you all with another update but activity on tumblr will not be happening until I get a new laptop. It's so outdated that even with clearing cache, a lot of sites are coming up with errors and even tumblr is affected with no longer being able to send mutuals asks! Luckily overtime is keeping things busy anyway but yeah, if you're wondering why I'm not sending asks anymore, I literally can't D:

tbh i think that they could just keep going beyond s9 because the more they screw it up the more i am inclined to ignore what they're doing anyway yk? and it's not about characters i like getting killed off, even though that hurts of course, it's about the fact that it's all for nothing. they just try a new storyline with eddie every episode they give him a plot and they don't think about longterm growth at all. they used to be better at this kind of thing but apparently they just dgaf these days

Like, this has happened many times before, and when people are polite about it sometimes those conversations can be really good! Sometimes I learn things that I didn't know before, or realize I misremembered something, or just get to go deeper into the topic than I otherwise would have, but. When it's just me repeating the same thing over and over again, to people who are assuming an intent I didn't have and never expressed, it gets frustrating.
