the intro to Super Frog (and the outro, but we rarely got that far) was animated by the one and only Eric Schwartz. he is a very famous furry artist and an incredible animator, and i would restart the game a lot just to look at the opening because i thought it was cute. dad was a big fan of his stuff too since he animated basically exclusively on the amiga.

in 2008 he uploads this video. an amiga tribute featuring a (kinda cunty) amiga computer killing a windows and a mac computer while singing Still Alive. i LOVED this video and i would watch it over and over again. i knew every word of the song, i knew the animation shot by shot, and my dad would frequently play it so we could sing along. he didnt know it was from a game, and i sure as hell didnt because i was 7 when it got uploaded

YEARS later, like 2015, i finally built my first computer. it was strong enough that i could play games that werent minecraft on the lowest settings, at 15 fps, with frequent crashes. i pretty promptly got a steam account, got REALLY into tf2, and started looking for other Valve games. i wasnt interested in Half Life, mainly because i didnt understand what it was, but Portal looked cool.
