What’s good everyone! Happy Belated Cereal Friday! This week’s pick is General Mills Fruity Lucky Charms. Break open the pink box, tear open the bag and you’re greeted with the smell of strawberry first and plastic second. Yes, it’s in a plastic bag but the scent of strawberry is unfortunately not strong enough to overpower the scent of the plastic bag. Huge disappointment. Upon dry tasting you’re tastebuds are reminded of a familiar cereal. A cereal so familiar that without giving it much thought it popped into @weberkait mind as General Mills’ Trix cereal. The marshmallows are the same and delicious as always. Honestly, don’t we eat Lucky Charms solely for the marshmallows? They’re kind of the best part. Anyway, once you add milk disappointment returns and the scent of strawberry mentioned above becomes the very faint taste in your mouth. Granted, the marshmallows are delicious! Finally, the cereal milk, disappointment once again. You’re left with a plain, flavorless bowl of milk. There’s no cereal flavor run-off at all.
