This tasty treat, Blue Moon Cupcakes, combines the tastes of Blue Moon beer and blue curaao liqueur. They look beautiful and taste light and citrusy. They're great for any event or just as a fun dessert.

Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/2 cup Blue Moon beer. 1/4 cup whole milk. 1/4 cup blue curaao liqueur. Blue food coloring optional. For the Frosting:. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 2 cups powdered sugar. 2-3 tbsp Blue Moon beer. 1 tbsp blue curaao liqueur. Blue food coloring optional. Blue sprinkles for decoration.

Instructions: Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C. You can line a cupcake pan with paper liners. Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a different bowl until it is light and fluffy. One at a time, add the eggs and beat well after each one. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Start with the dry ingredients and end with the Blue Moon beer, going back and forth between the two. Don't mix any further than that. You can get the shade of blue you want by adding a few drops of blue food coloring. The batter should be about two thirds of the way up each cupcake liner. Put it in the oven and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. After the cupcakes have cooled in the pan for a few minutes, move them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. For the frosting, beat the butter until it is smooth and creamy. Add the powdered sugar, Blue Moon beer, blue curaao liqueur, and food coloring if you want one tablespoon at a time. Mix the ingredients together until they are smooth and fluffy. After the cupcakes have cooled down completely, frost them with the blue moon frosting and top them with blue sprinkles. Enjoy your Blue Moon Cupcakes!
