Just thinking about the fact that the day after the snap in Infinity War and the day after everyone comes back in Endgame could both be their own apocalypse movies.
Planes falling out of the sky because their pilots disappeared, millions of car accidents, babies dropped from arms and left alone in houses/parks/cars, toddlers locked inside, pets without anyone to feed them, and thatâs not even talking about how the economy would completely and utterly collapse (which is only kinda talked about in tfatws): half the work force is gone, thousands of farms full of produce is left unattended, gas prices would skyrocket both because most drilling/boring companies wouldnât have workers and also because there arenât as many people buying gas, etc etc, the list can go on and on and on
And then when everyone comes back, people are going to pop back in the middle of the ocean where there used to be a boat, theyâd fall out of the sky where there used to be a plane (did you know it takes almost 2 minutes to fall from a plane? 2 minutes of spinning through the air waiting to hit the ground? yikes), people popping into existence in the middle of highways, in the middle of the jungle alone because they were on a tour before, and the same thing would happen to babies and toddlers as after the first snap, babies popping into existence in abandoned houses, toddlers in the middle of a city alone, and then, again, the economy would collapse because it would have absolutely no way of handling a sudden increase of 4 billion people to the population, billions of people are suddenly homeless and starving, without access to their bank accounts because they were declared dead, their houses were taken over, many houses were probably torn down because thereâs no need to have abandoned buildings as fire hazards, so now thereâs a housing shortage, etc etc.
And thatâs not even talking about the pure emotional trauma associated with all of it! Members of your family suddenly disappearing, the eldest child suddenly having to become the parent in the wake of their parentsâ âdeathsâ, your partner/spouse/significant other âdyingâ suddenly, and then when everyone comes back your partner has moved on and you only saw them yesterday, so you either have to break up a new happy relationship or you have to watch the love of your life be married to someone else a day after you saw them last⊠and the list goes on.
And also, if itâs half of all life and not just half of humans, then wouldnât the oxygen percentage suddenly drop? Half of the algae producing the oxygen would disappear. Also, when all the plant and animal life pops back into existence, environments and ecosystems would also collapse. There would be mass extinctions after everything comes back because thereâs no way an ecosystem can handle that
(im sure there are more things, iâd love to see all the problems other people see with this whole scenario)
