Fanart of Togemon punching Frigimon in the face. I've always loved the simplicity of Togemon's design, it's quitessential "Digimon" to me. Also I'm using it as my blog banner so I'd feel weird about not uploading it here.
I've been a bit under the weather lately, but that doesn't mean I can't doodle some digimon playing in the snow!
The Digimon Liberator webcomic is almost over (…probably. They’re hinting at stuff and also Digimon Alysion shares the setting, but officially it's ending); boy am I gonna miss these guys.

A list of Digimon lines that need to be added if Time Stranger gets its own Hacker's Memory
To release another game more quickly, Hacker's Memory reused Cyber Sleuth's original assets and expanded on it instead of making something completely new. If they did the same with Time Stranger, and they might to capitalize on the current Digimon hype, here's a list of new digimon that need to be on the expanded roster
Surprisingly, Hacker's Memory expanded more on the original roster than I realized. Vanilla CS was 249. HM bumped it up to 341. I'm gonna keep the list around 90
Obligatory Ghost Game as first members on the list. Probably the most consistent complaint about the current game roster. This is 16 or 18 depending on if they include all of Gammamon's champions
I'm liberator trash. Bear with me as I math this correctly
Pteromon, Shoemon, Elizamon, and Sunarizamon are 4 each. Ghostmon 2. Sangomon 3. 21
Impmon and Funbeemon 3 each. Tyrannomon and Frigimon 2 each. Espimon and Hanimon 4 each. 18
Blucomon and Bemmon are 4 each
Ludomon agenda continues. Including RagnaLordmon, that's 5
Loogamon and Pulsemon are 9 together. 4 each plus their jogress
We have Tankdramon and Darkdramon, but not Commandramon or Sealsdramon. We'll say 2 or 5 to maybe include the new 3 D-Brigade members
On a related note, Labramon and Anubismon would be cool. I actually love Labramon as Plutomon's rookie too. Gee, Labramon. Why do you get two death dog megas?
We'll end the list with the Chessmon. They're the only Data Squad members not in the game. 8
Strike that. I almost forgot Meicoomon. That's 5. Personally not interested in getting Ordinemon
Totaled, this is 94-99 new digimon
So, I went a little bit over, but I don't think this list is that unrealistic
DigiMonday - FRIGIMON (Aka Yukidarumon)
(Adult Level/Vaccine Attribute/Ice-Snow Type)
While I can't deny that Frigimon (the name used for today's Digi in most English Digimon media) rolls of the anglophone tongue much better, this friendly frigid fellow's original Japanese name carries with it an interesting bit of etymological trivia; 雪だるま ("Yukidaruma") is the Japanese word for snowman, and is the result of combining the Japanese for snow ("yuki") with Daruma, a type of typically-spherical figure depicting the Bodhidharma (a legendary monk, credited with facilitating the spread of Chan Buddhism across China as well as into Japan.) Fans of certain other multimedia franchises with "mon" in the name may also recognise this as the inspiration behind the ice-type snowman-themed Galarian variants of the daruma-themed Darumaka and Darmanitan!
Fittingly given its snowman-based name origins, when Frigimon debuted way back in the 2nd ever Digital Monster VPet (released in 1997) its sprite (seen in colorised form above) was essentially just a snowman, with the bear-like elements of its final design initially appearing only in promotional material. Its official description paints it as being a foil to Meramon, who debuted just a few months before it in the original Digital Monster VPet; while Meramon is a fire-themed Digimon described as being hostile, volatile and hard-to-tame, the snow-themed Frigimon is described as kind, gentle and strictly pacifistic. This relationship is portrayed in the form of a... rather pitiful battle between a Meramon and Frigimon in the Digital Monster Art Book:
Since its debut Frigimon has made frequent appearances, with at least a brief cameo in most pieces of Digimon media. Perhaps most notably, a Frigimon appeared as a minor antagonist and later ally of the Chosen Children/Digidestined in the original Digimon Adventure anime, while in the official Digimon webcomic Digimon Liberator supporting character Kazuki Suzune has a Frigimon as a partner and is often seen riding around on its shoulder. Fittingly given its frosty theming there's also countless pieces of official art showing it engaging in adorable wintery activities: here's a Frigimon ice-skating, here's one emerging from an appropriately Frigimon-themed igloo, and here's the unlikely duo of a Frigimon and a LadyDevimon enjoying a baking session together, complete with Mamemon-themed molds.
