For all Italians, if the 17th of the month falls on Friday, this becomes a bad day. Friday 17th is considered a bad luck day. In Italy there is also the proverb "né di Venere ne di Marte non si sposa né si parte né si da inizio all'arte", which means that on Tuesdays and Fridays you should not get married, leave or start any project because it is bad luck. So if you add 17, which is an unlucky number, to the Friday that is bad luck, you get a black day.
So much noise for friday 13th but none for our unlucky day of woe friday 17th
