7 of... It's not 7 posts...it's 8. "goals." Think my Decision Through. Think my Feelings Through. And Not Regret my Choices. OK, so this is one because I've long rushed through life, decision making (always wrong when I do this) and I seriously can be good at simply ignoring my own feelings. I've had a big one lately that made me need to pause and slow down and allow myself to feel and go through this. Something that has made me stop and really roll over every which way "How do I feel about this?" and, "How do I feel about my decision in this?" Thank the heavens I have amazing support from a perfect triangle in this. It's a big decision that could hold a lot of regrets later and, dealing with a death, it means no second chances. I almost set my feelings aside on this and I almost simply allowed anger alone to shadow all else, but instead I really dug in. Long dog walks in the woods, staring at the water, trail running, bike rides, showers, talking it out, writing it out... It gives good thinking time. And yes, allowing myself those clear the head thinking times is equally as important of a tool in self-care and on this subject. You can't think when your looking at a computer screen putting your brain on something else or watching a series of someone else's stories and decisions. It's been a rubix cube work of how do I feel about this. In this has also been a big place of toxicity and boundaries and burden, past and future, and trust me, that's another conversation. Ultimately it's about connecting with myself and allowing myself to feel my feelings and to know my feelings and mold my decisions and make my choices with thought and care. #goals #2020 #newyear #freshpage #regrets #noregrets #think #feelings #allow #self #betterme #selfcare #boundaries #thinkingitthrough #slowingdown #ponder #allowyourself #thinkaboutit #allowyourselftofeel #howdoifeel #howdoyoufeel #choices #decisions https://www.instagram.com/p/B7U1TSTAZru/?igshid=yjk8od8q11h0
