As much as we have experienced the loss of my beloved Five,it is also a time, if not the most obvious time to celebrate life. At the beginning of the month I forgot to celebrate Virgil Waffles one year gotcha day. He has been nothing but a joy to live with. There is something so special about him that you can only get by holding on to him which he would appreciate more of pleeez. And today is Framps 3 month gotcha day. They say at three months a rescue pup will start to feel like they’re home. I’d say Francis is stronglyconsidering it. A few nights before Five died (and I wasn’t even aware that was on the weekend agenda) I couldn’t sleep and spent some time downstairs with Framps. I was feeling a little weepy which puzzled me at the time (but not anymore lol). And as I sat with him I realized that we had both lost our best friends. This is what we had a in common. A loss that is indescribable and strangely healing. Honestly it’s nice to have someone to share that with. So here’s to our shared experience and the tremendous healing we get to bring to each other. There is no Aprils fools to Framps coming up to bed and sleeping with me all night; even touching me! I’m excited to see us both blossom in our continued relationship. #Friday was one month since Francis #Framps came to his next life. This is a great study in how it’s going… 1. #Awkward lap sit 2. Down but legged braced 3. Braced, with considerations 4. Maybe not so bad 5. And he’s down! New do #whodis Francis’ first bath/trim was a success! Sensitive around his face but overall kind and gentle. Which overall describes this guy. Also, no one told me how cute a #nubby #yorkie #tail was!! He’s definitely putting on weight and I don’t feel like I’m going to throw him over my shoulder when I pick him up 😂😂 He’s keeping Francis and seems to like being called #Framps (That ones for you @glamasaurus.rex 🙌😂) I can’t wait to see where we’ll be in a month!
