Random fact, I got more and more into rarepairs over the course of my time as a shipper. Not long ago I realized I've actually liked rarepairs for a lot longer than I thought. Only now realized it after learning of the definition of rarepair and what it meant. The Hellaverse fandom contributed quite a bit to that fact. A lot of my favorite rarepairs are from Hellaverse. I ask this because I've been researching stuff for my AU and learnt about quite a bit about Asmodeus's heritage and how it was was depicted differently in different religions.

While it's commonly assumed and believed he is a fallen angel, there are other depictions where he has parents of his own. One of the depictions (that being in Jewish mythology), Lilith, and another demon called Naamah, seduced and SA'ed Adam which led to Lilith giving birth to Asmodeus. Plus there's a lot of people who headcanon that the sins were babies at some point raised by Lucifer and Lilith. Or that Lucifer created them. And then there are people who ship Lillith and Asmodeus. Ironically in some depictions it's said he married Lilith and that she is his wife.

I could go on about how the actual demons and angels are depicted in different religions, just because it's really fun and religious stories are so fun and interesting.
