I am looking for someone to take in my three dogs. We live in texas, but their foster home can be anywhere as long as there is a way to get them there.
My mom and I are escaping an abusive home. I'm headed off to college, she's figuring it out and we're both trying to make it work. She doesn't know where she's going to go but if she ends up homeless then we need somewhere for the dogs to be. We love them with everything we are and a shelter is not good for them for various reasons.
We will be taking them back once things settle out, please keep that in mind.
Meet the dogs! Pictures below.
Her name is Technically Demeter, but we call her doodle/demer-doo/doodle-bug/you get the idea. She's a Year and a half old Cane-Corso. She is protective but has no aggression problems. She likes chewing on water bottles (and alluminum cans but PLEASE don't let her chew on those) and having a playmate her size, though she can safely play with any size animal. She recently got her "Big girl Big dog voice" and likes to make noise and listen to herself. We can't put her in a shelter, due to her breed they will kill her.
She's oddly socially anxious? She loves running around but is not the biggest fan of leaving a property. She could probably warm up to walks, but it would take work. She's a sweetheart and loves children and other animals. she is heat-sensitive. She also loves digging "nests" if there are any blankets near her. Her favorite place to be scratched his her chest.
A sweetheart black lab. He's missing a few teeth from being abused in a past home. He loves playing with other animals and being held, as well as "catch-em's" (treats), and water in any form (nless it's a bath.) he is also heat-sensitive. he loves all the butt scratches.
A White Jack russel. She has her few favorite toys that she will kill someone over. She's "blind" but can see (food) when she wants too. She's a little dog that thinks she's big, and when she growls she sounds like a demon speaking in gibberish, it's very funny. She loves cuddles and beds and soft places. She's great with children, will chase but not harm cats or puppies (Keep her away from kittens though), and will growl at any other dogs that try to take her toys away. She enjoys sunbathing, but only for a bit and will let you know when she wants to come in. She's not a fan of crates but will be in one if she must, and even though she's small somehow manages to take up half of a california king bed? small dog math.
If anyone can help it is very appreciated, feel free to DM me here or on discord (treehouse.rat) at any time. Thank you so much.
