Elsa and Larxene Analysis
In Disney Worlds throughout KH3, the Organization members therein appear to act spontaneously. They come in, say their piece, and leave (or get heaved through a door). Other times they arrive to achieve a specific goal. Seeking the Black Box, or searching for potential candidates to enact the Keyblade war. Dubbed the "New Seven Hearts."
Marluxia appears in Kingdom of Corona for the latter purpose. The first thing he does is appear in front of Mother Gothel, bluntly stating that he will help Gothel get Rapunzel back to the tower.
Marluxia clearly has no greater interest in this world or Rapunzel specifically. He takes a very pragmatic approach to handling things. Even cutting off Gothel herself when it seemed like she was endangering Rapunzel.
We then arrive in Arrendelle, where the gang sees Elsa and follows her up the mountain. after being blocked by a giant ice wall, Larxene casually appears behind them, implying that she had already been here, watching Elsa before SDG showed up.
For every step of the way, Larxene actively puts up road blocks to stall the others from catching up with Elsa. Firstly, trapping them in a giant ice labyrinth using the ice Elsa already conjured up. Despite saying "Ice is so not my style" she does a good job replicating the vibe of the Ice castle Elsa would later create.
While SDG are trapped in the labyrinth, Larxene continues to follow Elsa around. Watching her from afar, always staying just out of sight. She witnesses Elsa fully embrace her powers, constructing the Ice Palace. It's possible Larxene even teleported herself into the Ice palace while Elsa was singing. I like to imagine she was standing off to the side, watching Elsa as she was walking towards the balcony. Once Elsa shuts the doors, Larxene teleports out to the balcony. Noticing that the gummi trio had finally caught up.
Once at ground level, Larxene reaches her hand out to the palace balcony where she was just standing. After hearing Elsa "Letting go". shunning everyone in her life out and embracing her true self, Larxene wonders if Elsa is slowly embracing the darkness.
Larxene uses her lightning to push the others off the mountain. Stating that Elsa should be able to make decisions for herself.
Larxene actions in this world are vastly different from how Marluxia acted in Kingdom of Corona. Larxene is very proactive; watching over Elsa and preventing anyone from getting in her way. Larxene herself didn't leave the palace. It's possible she teleported back inside and watched Elsa, and potentially was present seeing Elsa accidently strike Anna.
Larxene is very protective of Elsa. Almost far more than is necessary. Her mission is just to ensure that no harm befalls Elsa so that she can be used as a ringer of the Keyblade war. But instead she prevents ANYONE not originally from this world to talk with Elsa. It's almost like she wanted Elsa to embrace darkness.
I like to imagine that when Elsa was subdued by Hans, and carried back to the kingdom, Larxene didn't help because she was hoping that would hasten the process of Elsa fully embracing the dark.
Despite them never interacting, Larxene had an interesting dynamic with Elsa. Watching over her, waiting to see her "special glimmer". I wonder if she saw a piece of herself within Elsa...
