Happy Bank Holiday weekend 🌞🌞🌞TBT to Monday when I decided to whack out some back squats. It wss significantly cooler that day as I don't think I have worn leggings since. I know I have always struggled to return back to the top of a rep for back squats esp as I go up to towards bodyweight (70kg). Other people told me I was going really low. I realised this when I watched this back and I seem to pause at the bottom as well which is not intentional. Ideally squats should only be breaking/below parallel and it should be slow down and fast up. In this video I am only lifting 60kg. It felt ALOT heavier because of my technique. So I changed my technique and tried to really drive from the hips. And it definitely paid off as I was able get 3 reps out of 75kg 😊😊 No matter how long you have been lifting, whether it is a few weeks, months or years, it is always worth filming yourself and analysing technique. Esp if you are experiencing a plateau. #CrossFitaddict #Backsquats #formiskey #technique #fitness #liftingislife #strongnotskinny #muscleslookbetterthanbones #girlsthatlift #Workhard #glutes (at Crossfitsoutheastwitham)
