Little Red Riding Hood is a classic fairy tale. It's a cautionary tale about safety. A young girl traverses the woods to deliver food to her sick grandmother. She's deceived by a cunning wolf in order to eat the grandmother. The wolf then disguises himself to eat the girl, too. Typically, a huntsman rescues them in the end.

Edmund is a “Lord of Narnia.” Specifically, he's the “Lord of the West,” as this title reflects his leadership in western Narnia. Edmund's other title is “Redeemed Prince,” which symbolizes his journey from betrayal to honor while he was still a prince. Since there are four Pevensie children, each child represents one of the four seasons. Edmund represents winter due to his previous cold demeanor and harsh past with the White Witch. It may be the time where nature hibernates, but it's also a time of struggle for many and he was no exception to this. Thus, Edmund managed to grow from his mistakes and became a good king, like how nature blossomed into spring after surviving the bitter winter.
