Mei meets the offspring of the Catbus named Kittenbus. The two become friends and go on a nighttime adventure in the forest. There, they discover many new spirits.

Tiana later proves to be heroic as she's quite capable in dangerous situations and moments of physical conflict. Aside from her workaholic nature, she's passionate, imaginative, and sympathetic towards others. Tiana enjoys humor, music, food, cooking, dancing, and quality time with loved ones. She dislikes failure, embarrassment, disrespect, laziness, wasting time, giving up, doubt, her mother's stubbornness, narcissism, and dark magic. Despite how she initially had little knowledge about romance, Tiana eventually grows to highly value it.

Big Daddy decides to host a Mardi Gras party at his estate to welcome the visiting Prince of Maldonia. There, Lottie plans to charm Naveen in hopes he'll eventually marry her and make her his princess. To do this, she hires Tiana to cater the event with five hundred of her "man-catching beignets". These are a deep-fried, square pastry that's traditionally covered with a heavy layer of confectioners' sugar.

Rapunzel's baby mobile has a cherub, a white horse, a duckling, a chameleon, and a blue bird on it along with her family sun crest in the center. If she was raised as a proper royal, she would have been allowed to go outside and interact with nature. Rapunzel would love flowers and go horseback riding. Being in the palace, she would have access to the finest education. Rapunzel would most likely still have learned how to chart stars, play guitar, sing, dance, draw, and paint. She especially would have had both her parents to read her bedtime stories each night.

A comedy about a pair of identical twins, Zack and Cody, causing trouble everywhere they go. The two live at the Tipton Hotel with their single mother who's a lounge singer there.

Clarabelle is an anthropomorphic cow who was first presented as the royal best friend of Minnie and the girlfriend of Horace. She's often identified by her signature cowbell jewelry and a tendency to infuse her speech with moos. Clarabelle is self-righteous and somewhat snooty. She would often disapprovingly stick her nose up at Mickey's antics. Despite her occasional highfalutin attitude, Clarabelle is actually clumsy and her intelligence is questionable. She enjoys gossip, talking, being idolized, adult literature, the beach, dairy products, parties, dancing, playing the violin and baking cakes.

Charlotte comes from a wealthy household. She had a little white cat named Marcel as a child. Later, Charlotte is gifted a bloodhound puppy named Stella. She's quite spoiled and hyper as a little girl. Despite this, Charlotte and Tiana have been best friends since childhood. She enjoys fairy tales, the color pink, and dreams of becoming a princess. Due to this, Charlotte has Eudora constantly make her princess ball gowns.

These spirits possess extremely long life spans. There was a Catbus who had been alive for centuries as he was mimicing a kago from the Edo period. Along with the usual Catbus Adults, there are the babies known as Kittenbus, and the elderly like the Granny Catbus. Other tribe members include: Catlimo, Catrain, Catboat, Catplanes, and Catkago (Edo Period).

Out of all the humans, Mei has the strongest connection with the spirits. She has seen Mini and Mid Totoro. Mei took a nap with Big Totoro. She has interacted with the Soot Sprites and the Catbus. Lastly, Mei has seen the entire Catbus Clan, along with the Tree Spirit Totoro Clan because she bonded with a Baby Catbus or Kittenbus.

In the summer, the spirits of the forest are less active during the day and mostly come out at night. This is how the Totoro Tribe avoids the heat. Thus, Big Totoro is usually sleeping during a day in a hedge nest. Meanwhile, Mid and Mini Totoros only come out to collect acorns. At night, the trio come out to plant the seeds and magically help the trees grow. At this time of the year, many soot sprites are returning to the homes they were cleaned out of during the spring. However, some may still be drifting to find more permanent settlements.

Ponyo was born as a tiny goldfish. As first-born, she lived in a bubble tank with a sand castle inside her father's underwater dwelling prior to having several little sisters. Ponyo's father had her eat Edamame instead of ham. However, she's quite curious and sneaky. Ponyo would run away to the surface out of curiosity for humans, often sleeping under a bubble on top of a jellyfish to feel the sun's rays through the water.

Angel likes flowers, fashion, jewellery and being the center of attention. She also likes sunny days and dislikes rainy days as a result. Angel enjoys singing, sunbathing, shopping, and spending time with her lover. Beyond this, she hates being called fat.

Unfortunately, Stitch was created in a lab instead of born. This means he was never a baby, but he does have some childish behaviour. Stitch will drink coffee out of a baby bottle, build sandcastles, and want his owner to read him The Ugly Duckling book. He loves his 'ohana, including his cousins. Stitch constantly demands food and drink, especially coconut cake. He likes spaceships, Elvis Presley, hugs, frogs, turtles, ducks, rodents, and being fluffy. Stitch also enjoys playing the ukulele, surfing, dancing, helping others, and spending time with his lover.

Satsuki and Mei are waiting at a bus stop for their father some time around night. When the forest spirit joins them, he holds a leaf for cover. But Big Totoro is delighted by the thumping, rhythmic sound of falling raindrops hitting their umbrella. Thus, the girls offer a spare umbrella to him. While humans use umbrellas for protection from the water, Totoro views it as a sort of toy.

Before he was allowed to play in the ocean by himself, Sōsuke would have most likely been kept inside to be observed by his mother. He would watch the ocean view from their house, waiting for his dad's ship to come by. While indoors, Sōsuke would look at picture books of sealife to educate himself. At times he could go outside, he would draw pictures in the sand if his mom would take him out for a picnic on the beach.

Mini Totoro, or Small Totoro, is a mouse-like Totoro. He's one hundred nine years old. Mini Totoro is the partner of Mid Totoro and is one of the two servants to Big Totoro.
