Story time... . . Last night around 6:15pm I went outside to throw away trash. On my way back I decided to try to use a broom to get a plastic bag out of a tree branch about 9-feet off the ground when something fell out of said tree and landed in my left eye. After going into the house I flushed my eye but nothing came out. I pulled the eye lid up and down but couldn't spot the foreign object. About 6-minutes ago I stopped working to fetch a cup of coffee when my eye spazzed out and I couldn't see. My eye began to water and the pain stopped. I proceeded to the nearest bathroom and found just below my left eye stuck to my face this black thing. Back at my desk I pulled out the ruler to see how long this black thing is? Its 7mm in length!!!!!!! Sweet Gerald Bearald! It's hard to believe but it's been 8 days since his surgery!! 😮 He's doing really well, he was having some diarrhea/upset tummy but that's resolved. Gerry will get his stitches out this Saturday coming up. He's slowly becoming more active and we have backed off on the pain meds substantially! He's been hanging out with Fern a lot, lounging around. 💗 It's so good to see him getting back to his old goofy self 😍😍 His next Heartworm injection is this Thursday.
