"we didn't used to have data centers in the good old days of the internet"
Yes we did. they just weren't in the news and people who know nothing about computers and network infrastructure weren't discoursing about them.

love platonic love forever but the way someone is alwaysssss wanting to dust off their microphone to talk about how friendship only is a more valuable and impactful read of a character relationship than seeing it romantically, even when there are amazing examples of platonic love in the same media that are notably different is TIRED. like yes obviously characters (and queer characters in particular!!) being shown having loving friendships is always something to treasure. are there times when a profound platonic bond is in fact the point and I personally roll my eyes a bit that people want to smash them together like dolls? well live and let live but of course. is it coincidentally every time the characters in question are not both white and the love between them is specifically a driving force of the story and their journeys? well NO? and I do find that pattern curious. to say the least. sometimes characters ARE in love with each other and it does not devalue their connection to think so. hot take.
a question to you all: what food would your muse go crazy over?
actually i want to get into this a little deeper, because why have i so often experienced people kind of laughing at me when i tell them the chronicles of narnia is my favourite movie? or my favourite books? why is this seen as something a little silly? i get that they are technically considered to be children's stories but there are so many other, well appreciate, popular children's stories that don't get this same judgement as narnia does. sick of it!

I've now had conversations with two people this week who just simply refuse to do things because---well, I mean really, isn't that someone else's problem to solve? And despite the fact that this is not technically, actually, really even my problem, per se, that response does make me want to do truly operatic violence.
