help me. i also have a sligt obsession. but i use glitter alot so i need to use acetone to get it off easy and it leaves my skin dry and no matter how much i clean them up the skin around my nails are always siper rugged
There is a method that might be a little less harsh on your nails called the foil method that you might want to give a try!
Here's what you do:
1. Soak a cotton ball in nail polish remover.
2. Place that soaked cotton ball against your nail.
3. Wrap a piece of tin foil around your fingertip, make sure the whole nail is covered and make sure the cotton ball is still on your nail.Â
And after 3 or 4 minutes, press down on the nail and take the foil and cotton ball off your finger.Â
This SHOULD work for you, but I do know what you  mean. Glitter polishes are the worst to get off! Try the method I listed but not with acetone, with a nail polish remover that has a strengthening power to it. I have one that is purple that helps strengthen nails. Maybe something like that won't dame your nails and make them rugged and dry!Â
You could also apply some cream to the skin around your nails after you take the polish off so it's not too dry. :) Let me know.
