Recently a Facebook friend has been posting some ๐ฃ shoes on her timeline. This morning she posted a fiya ๐ฅ pair of boots๐ข that I loved and it hit me, "You've from mourning over what you can't do, to fully accepting your CANS even if they look a little different. Here's a bit of background information. I LOVE โค shoes, especially stilettos and boots. ๐ ๐ขWhen I could no longer wear those type of shoes after hip replacement surgery, it angered me to know MY plans had been altered. It has taken time and surrender, I've had to get rid of shoes and still have more to go, but the pain of parting with those shoes no longer exist. As I prayed ๐๐พ and asked God for healing, he gave me something better...contentment. Contentment is not a word we hear often because we're bombarded with messages of hustle, grind, get it how you live ๐ฏ , grab it and get it so you can stunt on the 'Book and 'Gram. Neither is contentment sitting, watching and waiting for things to happen instantaneously. No, you have a part, get in there and be deliberate about finding your way! I've seen God do more with my unforced doing than I have sitting and waiting. Promise! Have you experienced unexpected shifts in your life? Trust me, it is not the time to just sit and accept what it. It is the perfect time to posture your heart, refocus, realign and renew your mind to receive the wondrous experience of your DOs with God. He's got you, but you got to give it to Him. Happy Saturday!
