Because he spent so much time as a trainee, a good portion of his childhood and half of his adolescence to be specific, Guanting had grown rather close to a lot of his seniors because he had trained with all of them. He had been with Dimensions since 2010, before all of the labels’ current groups debuted. He had grown close to the older trainees, specifically the older male trainees because they were who he had seen the most often. Insik had always been relatively kind to him, a lot kinder than a few of the trainees back in the day, which had given Ting all the more reason to cling to him like he did with anyone who showed him an ounce of kindness.
Because of how busy they were these days, Ting hadn’t had much time to associate or mingle with his friends due to Unity’s schedules, which was why events like these were so special to him. He got to see a few of his friends and spend time with them. That was how he found himself sneaking up behind Insik backstage at the Soribada awards, latching his arms around the shorter male. “Hyung!” He chirped in his ear, rocking him back and forth as he hugged him. “How are you? Are you guys performing soon?” He asked, still not releasing him from his grasp.
