Deadline: None, these tasks are indefinitely open to all muses at any time, though points can only be collected for each opportunity once per muse.
While base Online has been in existence since baseâs advent, mainly uploaded behind the scenes content of base TV and base Music projects, baseâs management decided to start focusing on getting more eyes on their online branch in 2021. A call has gone out to managers to get their idols more involved in the project by asking them to participate in creating a steady stream of content, both pre-filmed and live, for base Online.
IN âVERSE INFO
Idols under the three companies may at any time be directed by management to participate in creating one of the following video content types:
Pre-filmed Series
INTERVIEW (#fmdbaseonline1.1)
A vlog involving one idol interviewing another on their career, life, etc. in a professional tone. See here for an example of tone, though not in a podcast setting.
Must be completed as a thread of at least eight posts. The interviewer is the only muse that collects points, so the interviewee must do a separate thread interviewing someone to collect points.
PRACTICAL JOKEÂ (#fmdbaseonline1.2)
A vlog involving one idol doing a hidden camera prank or playing a practical joke on another idol. This can be a short, minor prank or a more elaborate one as long as it doesnât provoke a reaction that is damaging to either idolâs image.
Must be completed as a thread of at least eight posts. Both the muse pranking and the muse being pranked may collect points.
COVERÂ (#fmdbaseonline1.3)
A video covering a solo or duet song of the museâs choice filmed on a stage set (all muses will film on the same set) with some minor lighting design, basic set options, and the option of live accompaniment (example). This can be singing, rapping, dancing, and/or instrumental but should reflect a museâs group positions/soloist focuses (if applicable). If you use a reference, please avoid covers released on streaming sites or to channels claimable on the points blog (ex. Studio Choom, Dingo, Muply) and be aware that reference will not be officially claimed (i.e. someone else can use the same reference).
Must be completed as a solo of 400+ words or a thread of at least eight posts.
âTEN THINGS I CANâT LIVE WITHOUTâ (#fmdbaseonline1.4)
This is a video where the muse discusses ten items they canât live without. Examples here and here.
Must be completed as a solo of 400+ words.
â"EVERYTHING I DO IN A DAYâ (#fmdbaseonline1.5)
This is a video where the muse recounts the schedule of their âtypical dayâ. Examples here and here.
Must be completed as a solo of 400+ words.
âCURATED PLAYLISTâ (#fmdbaseonline1.6)
For this video, the muse will create a playlist of their choice of approximately one hour in length. They will then work with the production team to choose a location fitting the mood of the playlist that they will be filmed in as the playlist plays. The location should be fairly simple to access and film at without a large budget, and allow for the placement of stationary cameras. What the muse does during the filming should be simple, background types of activities that wonât distract the listener/watcher, such as taking photos, doing art, writing, eating, driving, reading, working out, cooking, etc. Examples here, here, and here (more examples on the same channel, but note that something like smoking for the video would not be allowed as idol image should be maintained).
Must be completed as a playlist of around one hour in length and a solo of 400+ words. The complete playlist can be included separate from the solo or the songs can be specified throughout the solo. Note: For purposes of this opportunity, the playlist is allowed to count repeat songs used in other playlists for the muse unlike normal playlists for points. A separate explanation of the playlist is not required.
Live Series
ADVICE LIVEÂ (#fmdbaseonline2.1)
A livestream giving advice to fans who send in situations and questions they need advice on.Â
Must be completed as a solo of 400+ words or a thread of at least eight posts with a groupmate or with a muse with a face claim of the same presented/publicly assumed gender.
HOW-TO LIVEÂ (#fmdbaseonline2.2)
A livestream where one muse teaches another muse how to do something they know how to do well, but the other muse doesnât. This can have either a comedic or serious tone.
Must be completed as a thread of at least eight posts.
CHOICE LIVEÂ (#fmdbaseonline2.3)
A livestream with a format of the idolâs choice, as long as itâs kept appropriate (ex. playing a game, baking, on the spot cover requests, dancing, etc.)
Must be completed as a solo of 400+ words or a thread of at least eight posts with a groupmate or with a muse with a face claim of the same presented/publicly assumed gender.
OUT OF âVERSE INFO
You may choose to complete or not complete these tasks whenever youâd you like! Each task/prompt/opportunity can only be completed once per muse for points. Writing for prompts should only be done if at least one muse in a thread has not collected points for the task previously to avoid an endless number of videos starring the same muse. This is meant to be specific prompts for a limited number of videos on for the base Online website over time not a substitute for a personal Youtube channel claim, where a muse has more freedom with type of content and quantity of content.
Lives can be assumed to happen whenever you date them from February 2021 onward. Pre-filmed content can be assumed to go up on base Online sometime from February 2021 onward, from two weeks to six months after it was filmed depending on the amount of tasks completed on one muse dated around the same time.
Keep in mind that all pre-filmed videos would be edited and all live videos would be supervised by management to avoid causing scandals.
Each thread completed for points should be with a different muse and these tasks cannot be completed through an open thread starter.
Please tag all threads and solos with the tag next to the matching prompt. They do not have to be completed in a specific order.
Any further questions should be directed to the mainâs ask box!
POINTS AVAILABLE
Total available points: 18 points (Each prompt is worth two points. None of the prompts count toward monthly limits.)
+2 points: Interview thread. (1.1)
+2 points: Practical joke thread. (1.2)
+2 points: Cover solo or thread. (1.3)
+2 points: "10 Things I Canât Live Withoutâ solo. (1.4)
+2 points: "Everything I Do In A Dayâ solo. (1.5)

to say that sehoon had a lot of songs in mind that he wants to make a cover of would be an understatement. at some point, he thinks it's become second nature to him by now, an acquired interest from his line of work and the passion he has for music in general. this made choosing a song to use for a cover to be quite tricky. there were too many good options to choose from, but he and jiah have decided to go with ârewrite the starsâ. itâs admittedly a very good song, and also one of the many reasons why he agreed to do it in a heartbeat. it's a wonderful piece and luckily just within his vocal range. to say he's excited to do this would also be another understatement.
practice proved to be a fun experience, too. heâs thankful that jiah agreed to do the cover with him. he feels lucky to be working with her on this project. looking around, he sees the staff doing some last-minute preparations before they go on for their first round of recording. as far as he knows, everything has been set up and ready for them to go, but it doesnât hurt to do some final checking. which reminds him. âthanks for doing this cover with me, by the way,â sehoon looks at jiah with a smile. âdo you mind if we practice one last time before we start recording?â
As has been announced in-âverse through the Exclusive blog, Iâm happy to share a new element of Famed that Iâve been considering and working on for quite a while now (since the roleplayâs inception, in fact). If Iâve ever told you Iâm holding a claim you were interested in for something, it was probably because of this. It has only fully come to fruition now, but Iâm excited to begin incorporating it four weeks before our third anniversary!
You can read the Exclusive blog post for some information about Base in-character, but out-of-character, Base is intended as another way to earn and/or, sometimes, spend points and flesh out your musesâ individual schedules in the form of career opportunities, in addition to events/tasks. The best way to think of it is as the new outlet for ongoing events (like our We Got Married and Shared Home events) and mini-events; the blog will mainly host the sorts of events muses must sign-up for to participate in. Ongoing events and mini-events will now be more frequent and will be mainly based out of the Base blog with the #fmdbase tag, while larger static events (like company concerts, festivals, and parties) will still be based out of the Exclusive blog with the #fmdevent tag. I hope to naturally ease everyone into this new blog so that its introduction hopefully isnât too confusing!
There are four facets of Base: music, TV, online, and live. Opportunities will be presented in each of these four categories, spanning a wide range of jobs and skill sets, with the first opportunity in music queued to go up tonight! The first ongoing event for Base will be open to all muses, but if it doesnât fit your muse, donât worry, there are already a variety of different opportunities planned down the line catered to more specific areas of interest! These will generally be in a format similar to the tasks and events youâre used to, but will be open to select muses who qualify for and sign up for them. Think the recent Shared Home event (which was in part a final test run for some of my ideas for Base) if there werenât necessarily opportunities for involvement for those not in the main cast.
As this is an expansion of the roleplay world in a way, I have also now made a 'Verse Glossary page, something I feel was a bit overdue! This is meant to help new (and maybe even current) members learn established in-âverse elements that may not be easy to find explained in-depth elsewhere. More elements will be added if they come to mind or if I get asked about them. Before our third anniversary, Iâm planning to have a timeline of major canon events and plot drops that have happened in-âverse since 2017 to help acclimate new members, too.
All of that said, please follow the new blog and add #fmdbase to your tracked tags, and send a message if you have any questions!
A year after idols first heard of the advent of the COLLA3ORATE project, word gets out among the three companies that base is once again looking for idols to come together to collaborate on music in project groups. This time, the focus is a bit different. In contrast to the previous COLLA3ORATE songs, which were promoted on music shows, base has decided to release a season â1.5âł of the project, which will include three total songs released sponsored by three different brands. These songs wonât be promoted on music shows but the artists on each COLLA3ORATE song will hold a mini-concert after the songâs release.
IN âVERSE INFO
In the final two weeks of February, idols who have either expressed interest in the opportunity to their managers or have been specifically picked by management for consideration will be sent details of the concept of each song and MV (but not a demo). Idols will be able to express their preferred concept to their managers but final decisions will be made by the department of artist and repertoire management responsible for arranging the project groups and their choices may not ultimately align with the idolsâ preferences.
Shortly following, the song lineups will be confirmed with the chosen idols. As they near work for the project, they will be sent full-length demos of the song they will be recording and will also be made aware of the other idols they will be working with.
Further schedules for recording, practicing, and preparing the song will come at a later date.
OUT OF âVERSE INFO
Note that these are not official sub-units and the songs will not get promotion. While it is also not a brand deal, since the MVs are each sponsored by/in collaboration with a particular brand, a muse cannot be the face of a competing brand or product of that which is sponsoring the song and MV.
In-character, itâs an opportunity for the three companies to profit off of combinations they couldnât have otherwise, this time without having to provide the budget for the releases themselves since the brands will be fronting the bill this time around.
All singles will be released by the project group under the name of COLLA3ORATE. For this special project, the regular music claim waiting period rules do not apply and a mun is allowed to have a muse releasing another points claimed song in the same month. Though all songs will be officially credited under the name COLLA3ORATE, performers will be individually credited on most platforms as well, so performance involvement will be added to your museâs Exclusive blog career page.
If youâre interested in having your muse participate in this opportunity, a form will be opened up at 12PM (noon) EST on February 28 to submit your muse for the project. For the initial submissions, muns may only be confirmed for one muse in one of the songs. After first round submissions are made and confirmed, a date will be announced where muns can submit for second and possibly third muses.
All songs will have a preparation period of two months in addition to the month of release. For instance, the May release will be worked on in March, April, and the beginning of May. During this preparation time, mini schedules will be posted for the idols collaborating on the specific song that the involved idols can earn points for writing about. Select days of the preparation process will be filmed to be uploaded on base Online, but most of the preparation will be off-camera.
Any charting will mirror the real life singles, as with all COLLA3ORATE projects.
Any further questions should be directed to the mainâs ask box!
GUIDELINES
POSITIONS:
Each song must include an idol from at least two of the three companies and no more than two members of the same group can be on the same song. It will be designated on the song page if a song is no longer open to idols from a specific company or group.
CREATIVE CLAIMS:
For this opportunity, partial credits should be assumed to be approximately 50% credit or less in their respective area.
Musical creative claims are available on songs for the project, but only one muse per mun can claim creative credits on any song for this round. A muse cannot have creative claims on the song they are performing in and only one muse by the same mun may be involved in the same song in any way (be it performer or musical claims).
Since writers and producers are working from a brief this time instead of from scratch, songs are potentially open to creative claims by multiple muses, but only one muse per type of claim. (e.g. Muse A can claim partial lyrics and partial composition while Muse B claims partial production, but Muse A and Muse B cannot both claim partial lyrics).
In order to claim a creative credit, the muse must already have a creative credit points claim in the same area(s) on an already released points claimed song.
Creative claims must be made with points, meaning you must have the appropriate number of points available at the time of claiming. Writing verification is not an option for this project.
Since there are fewer spots this round than the first, when the forms open for the first time, you may only submit for a creative claim or for a performance position form. Once the second round is open, you may submit for each a performance or creative claim position for a second muse or the one you havenât already submitted for for your first muse.
For idols claiming any musical creative credits (lyrics, composition, or production), the songs would have been submitted to their respective company by the end of January 2021 at latest. Unlike the first round, these songs would have been specifically requested with a concept brief including the brand the song will be sponsored by. They would be notified of that their song was selected for the project in mid-February.

Those involved in Hot Topic(k) this month may earn up to 6 points total for writing, by the end of January 31 KST:
Completions of the two interviews included in the in-character prompt. (1 point each, up to 2 points total)
A headcanon of 400+ words of your museâs âlesson planâ* before going in to complete their mentoring gig. (2 points).
A solo para of 400+ words based on filming |OR| a thread with the mentor for the same skill of at least six posts. (2 points *points may only be collected for one or the other).
These do not count toward monthly limits or toward normal schedule points. All posts for this task block should be tagged with #fmdht2.
IN-âVERSE INFO
A week before theyâre scheduled to film, the idols chosen are informed that theyâve been cast as mentors for the episode 6 & 7 block of the show. Theyâre informed of their filming time, the skill theyâve been chosen to give a workshop on, and the other idol that will be helping with the same skill. They will also be told the songs and arrangements the idols will be performing for their respective position evaluations. Dance mentors will also be given the choreography ahead of time to familiarize themselves with.
There will be five contestants performing each song.
Episodes 6 & 7 (Position Evaluations) - January 11
The mentors will arrive at the studio where the show is filming on January 11. The vocal mentors will coach in the morning, the dance mentors in the afternoon, and the rap mentors in the evening. The pair will be filming their mentoring at the same time, though they may mentor separately, together, or switch on and off as they see fit.
Before doing any other filming, the mentors are pulled aside for a short talking head interview as follows:
Which song do you consider to be the harder performance of the two?
If you were a contestant on the show, which song of the two would you have wanted to chose to perform?
What do you expect a pre-debut trainee to struggle most with for their position evaluation?
The pairs will mentor the first group listed for around an hour and then switch to the second group listed.Â
Once inside each room, theyâll introduce themselves and the members of the group theyâre helping will introduce themselves to them (note: Muns of mentors may write interactions with NPCs in the groups to their liking, but please avoid writing detailed interactions with every single member of the group since some contestants may later not be NPCs).
The group will then show the mentors the current state of their performance. The mentors will be expected to give initial critiques and feedback on their performance before working more in-depth to help improve their performance over the course of the hour they have with each group. Though other performance elements may be in play in a performance other than the specific skill the position evaluation is for, the mentors are suggested to keep to advising on the specific skill they are there for.
At the end of their time mentoring, each mentor is asked to pick an MVP from the contestants based on what theyâve seen from the workshop. They may use their own criteria to pick this.
After they have completed their time mentoring, they will be asked to give one more talking head interview before leaving:
How do you feel your mentoring session went?
Did anything happen that threw you off of your original plans? Did you realize they were struggling with anything unexpected or did you add on any other tips in the moment?
Do you feel youâve grown or learned anything from mentoring? Do you feel that vocals/dance/rap is in good hands with the next generation of idols?
The position mentors are also invited to come and be filmed watching the live performances for their specific position on filming for the final stages on January 15 to react to the stages. This is optional.
OUT OF âVERSE INFO
Every mun who submitted for this casting should have at least one muse receiving a mentorship role, either during this filming or the last one. Most muns should have gotten their first choice muse in, but a few may have gotten a second or third choice muse in and not their first choice. This is simply because the first choice muse was submitted to fewer categories and/or only to more selective categories and has lower odds of being selected, while the second or third choice muse was submitted to more categories and/or less selective categories and had higher odds.
* = The âlesson planâ headcanon doesnât have to take a specific format or resemble any kind of real lesson plan; it should just detail what your muse is anticipating having to teach and help with and what they did to prepare for mentoring.
Any questions can be directed to the mainâs ask box!
Those involved in the main cast of Our Songs this month may earn up to 10 points total for writing, by the end of November 5 KST:
Completions of the two interviews included in the in-character prompt. (1 point each, up to 2 points total)
Up to two solo paras of 400+ words based on filming for episodes 5 & 6. (2 points each, up to 4 points total).Â
A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) with another muse in the main cast based on the Our Songs episodes 5 and 6 schedule. This must be with a different muse than the thread you collected points for last month. (2 points)
A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) with the guest muse your muse is writing for for this round based on the Our Songs episodes 4 and 5 schedule. (2 points). **Note: This should be the first priority and points may only be collected for the exact requirement listed. That said, should you have trouble completing this by the deadline with the guest muse, this requirement also be passed only for the sake of elimination consideration (not points) if you complete a second thread with another muse from the main cast by the deadline.
Please remember the number of the above tasks completed by each muse will factor into eliminations during blocks with eliminations.
Those guesting on Our Songs this month may earn up to 6 points total for writing, by the end of November 5 KST:
Completions of these interviews. (1 point each, up to 2 points total)
A solo para of 400+ words based on filming for episodes 5 & 6. (2 points).
A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) with the muse your muse is paired with for Our Songs episodes 5 and 6 schedule. (2 points)Â
These do not count toward monthly limits or toward normal schedule points. All posts for this task block should be tagged with #fmdos3.
IN-âVERSE INFO
Following the performances on October 8, the competitors will go backstage to their dressing rooms for a little under an hour while the audience is instructed to vote for two songwriters whose performances they liked the best. These votes will be calculated and combined with online track votes based on a weighted formula, and then the competitors are brought back out. They are first told the cast members that got the most votes in the live voting and the online voting as follows:
- Live audience vote: Youngjoo
- Online vote: Taeyong
The final rankings are announced as follows to announce the safe competitors from fifth place to second:
5. Suji
4. Taeyong
3. Joohwan
2. Sun
Choi Jihoon congratulates the four safe competitors and dismisses them from the stage to bring the four remaining on stage (Youngjoo, Kami, Eunah, and Jaewon). The competitors currently on stage represent first place, sixth place, and the two competitors who will be eliminated and he reminds everyone of that. After building suspense, he announces Youngjoo as this roundâs winner and announces sheâs won a prize: sheâll be invited to perform a solo set on one night of the Topaz Music Festival, a popular music festival held at the venue they performed at this round that will take place in November. The festival is normally for non-idol singer-songwriter types, and this will be the first time an idol has been invited to perform. (admin note: If the mun would like to officially confirm this claim as a prize, please submit this form to the points shop blog to have it added to her career page! The mun may decide the exact date for the festival around their museâs schedule). Sheâs individually congratulated and then dismissed from the stage.
This leaves three competitors (Kami, Eunah, and Jaewon) and only one will be safe. After building the tension, it is announced that Jaewon has placed sixth and will be safe to go onto the next episode. This means Kami and Eunah have unfortunately been eliminated from the competition and the final overall ranking for the latest round is ultimately as follows:
On October 10, the idols will once again return to the ârecording studioâ set they first met at on their first day of filming. Competitors will once again be seated based on their rank (first place in seat one, second place in seat two, etc.). Basic pleasantries will be gone through on camera recounting the last round and reminding everyone of the rules and structure of the show before host Choi Jihoon will inform them of their third songwriting mission:
âAfter the first and second round, you should all have an idea of who you yourself are as a songwriter and who the rest of the cast are as songwriters. Youâve seen their versatility and the areas they excel in the most, both as a performer and songwriter, but a truly gifted songwriter can work for others as well as they can work for themselves, For this round, you will all be asked to write for another idol who will be performing a song you wrote. No one will be able to get through on an established image or popularity alone this round, as the songwriter behind each song will be kept anonymous until everyone has cast their final vote at the live performances. There will be no additional requirements this round, so put your all into shaping a song fitting of the artist who will be performing your song this round.â
The competitors are given time to react to the prompt before they are dismissed from the main set to their green rooms. In their individual green rooms, theyâre once again approached by a camera crew and given a form provided by production with basic information on the idol theyâll be writing for, although the exact identity of the idol is not revealed yet (admin note: please keep in mind muses shouldnât really be able to narrow down exactly who theyâre paired with from information on the forms since the form will be re-typed to remove the element of handwriting recognition and they are not informed the idols are limited to the three in-âverse companies). Theyâll react to the information and be expected to talk about their first thoughts. After this, each musician will film a talking head interview in a private room with a small team of cameras and producers where they are asked the following questions:
How are you feeling about the ranking you received last round? How do you feel about it in comparison to your rank for the first round?
What are your thoughts on the song youâll write this round based on the information youâve been given about the idol youâll be writing for?
How will you approach writing a song for someone else differently than youâve approached writing songs for yourself for the first two rounds?
What are your thoughts on your other competitors at this point in the competition?
From October 10 to October 17, all competitors are given time to begin to work on a song or potential songs based on the information theyâve been given. They will be filmed both through the stationary cameras installed in the studio in their company buildings and will also be instructed to continue to use their self-cam to record their creative process as well.
The guest cast members will be made aware at this time of their role in the show: having a song written for them by an assigned cast member to record and perform. They will not yet be made aware of which main cast member they are partnered with and are asked not to discuss their guesting with anyone.
On October 18, all pairs will meet through either a filmed meeting at a coffee shop or through a filmed video call depending on what schedules allow. This meeting will be the reveal of their partnerâs identity and during this meeting, the main cast member should be prepared to show the song theyâve been working on and discuss together with their partner about the song and any changes that may need to be made to fit the idolâs voice, style, or preferences. It is up to the main cast member how much they change to accommodate their partner, although they will not be allowed to completely redo the song at this point.
The main cast member will have from October 18 through October 27 to finalize the song and get vocals recorded from the other idol on the track. The pairs may meet up over the course of this time as they wish to work on recording and finalizing, although each meeting should be filmed.
There will be no âdemoâ presentation for this episode in front of the other competitors due to the nature of the task. Final mastered versions of all songs are due to the production team by the end of October 27.
On November 1, the final version of each competitorâs song will be released onto the base TV website and voting will open for online audiences. They will be uploaded onto streaming sites a week later so as not to reveal the writersâ identities.
On November 7, all competitors and all of the special guests will go to the regular building with the performance set from first episode, where their songs will be performed and voted on. As with last episode, minor set and prop elements are permitted, but they should be easy for the staff to get on and off the stage. The respective companies will be responsible for the styling and performance preparation of the performer.Â
Once filming begins, the competitors will be informed they will be performing in a randomly generated order in order to maintain anonymity of the writers. The audience is asked to vote more on how well-written a song is for the idol than how amazing the performance is since the songwriters are the ones being evaluated. The performing order is revealed to be:
Wei - âPit-a-petâ (written by Jaewon)
Huiseon - âBaby Babyâ (written by Sun)
Aera - âDiverâ (written by Joohwan)
Duri - âHeavenâ (written by Youngjoo)
Charlie - âIljidoâ (written by Suji)
Minjung - âGirl, Interruptedâ (written by Taeyong)
As each guest idol is performing, the six songwriters and all five other guest performers will sit backstage in their individual dressing rooms while their reactions are filmed. Since they are in private, songwriters may react appropriately to the song they wrote. At the conclusion of each stage, each competitor will be given time to talk about their thoughts on the performance and song. In the final airing of the episode, only some competitorsâ comments will be aired per song.
During the break following all six song performances, each competitor will film another talking head interview (admin note: please wait to complete this interview until all songs have been chosen and listed above):
Talk about the song you wrote for this task. How do you feel it compares to the first two songs you wrote for the show?
How do you feel the idol you wrote for did in performing your song? In what ways do you feel the song benefited from not being performed by you?
Which of the other songs/performances caught your attention the most?
Which song do you expect got the most votes online and from the audience?
OUT OF âVERSE INFO
As usual, the rankings for the second round were determined by random generation for spots among who completed the most tasks. In this case, spots one through six were generated by those who had all tasks completed in the #fmdos2 tag on their museâs blog by the deadline. Two muses did not complete all of the tasks, so they took the eliminated spots. The only exception here is that the adminâs muse will not be eligible for the overall first place ranking unless they are the only muse who completes the most number of tasks. Proof shots of the name picker can be found here (note: admin is in EDT, while the deadline was in KST, so the names were drawn after the deadline).
The winners for separate live voting and online voting were determined using weighted selection based on the randomly generated overall rankings. Rank one got eight submissions into the generator, rank two got seven, rank three got six, etc. and the two eliminated muses got one submission each, and then names were drawn. Proof shots of the name picker for the live audience vote and online vote winners can be found here. A proof shot of the randomizer for performance order this round can be found here. Pairs were made simply by pairing the order of the main cast by seniority directly with the guest cast submissions by order of submission from earliest to latest. Only one switch was made to ensure all muses would be writing for a muse with a skill set or song availability significantly different from their own.
For this task block you will need to submit the following information: the song you would like to claim for your muse to create for this roundâs task (and a performance reference if one is available and agreed upon with the performing muse) and the creative claims on it. Please note that the song choice should ultimately be the decision of the mun of the main cast member. Muns may discuss what the performing muse is comfortable with, but the song choice should be based on what the muse would write with the information presented to them and not what the performing muse would necessarily want written for them.
The form link will be uploaded here at 12AM KST October 10/11AM EDT October 9, twenty-four hours after this post goes up. The form link can be found here. A reminder of the limits of creative claims on each muse for the show can be found here. If you think there is a mistake or if a song is released that leads to a necessary update, please contact the main.
Songs Claimed:
Heaven - Gaho
Iljido - Moonbyul
Girl, Interrupted - Miso (prod. 2xxx!)
Pit-a-pet - Yukika
Baby Baby - Suran
Diver - YooA
SONG LIMITATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
The simplified theme for this round is âWritten By, Not Forâ. Please read the prompt in the in-âverse info for full details on what this means.
For all rounds, a song must fit all general rules of music claims (i.e. matches muse position, is not too explicit, must be by an artist in the Korean music industry, etc.) and must receive admin approval.
For this round, these are the additional limitations and requirements on songs that can be chosen:
The song must be solo. This means it cannot be a collab or have a feature.
The song must be performed by the muse assigned by the show and the muse performing cannot have creative claims on a song.
In real life, the song must not be a title track according to Melon and cannot have an official MV. Special clips, live clips, and minimal production lyric videos are acceptable, but the song will have to be re-released on an album in the future to claim such videos as canon to the universe.
In real life, the song cannot have charted higher than a rank of 75 on Gaonâs Weekly Digital Chart at any point.
You may claim songs with choreography, but choreography creative claims are not available. As usual, songs with more emphasis on complex choreography should be reserved for muses with dance positions.
Limitations: Open to all muses not competing on Our Songs.
Deadline: August 4, 11:59PM EDT
At the beginning of July, idols under all three companies are informed about casting for a new show: Secret Siblings. The concept of the show is to have pairs of one younger idol and one older idol come together and bond over their shared concerns and empathize with one another as they get to know each other.
If an idol is interested or if management deems it a beneficial job, they may submit an audition for the show.
IN âVERSE INFO
If an idol is interested in joining the cast or if they are specifically asked to send in an audition by management, they will be requested to record the following casting information, in addition to filling out a cast survey:
1) A self-cam video answering the following questions:
What are your concerns these days?
Which (same-sex) idols do you look up to or want to get to know better?
Do idol schedules make it hard for you to meet up with friends and talk? If yes, do you feel that is hard on you? If no, how do you manage to make time?
food tw // If you could create your ideal menu for a meal with a friend, what would it include?
2) A one minute or shorter voice recording greeting their unknown secret sibling. Idols have freedom with this as long as itâs appropriate, but are encouraged to reflect their personalities as much as possible. This voice recording will be given to their secret sibling if they are cast to reveal their identity.
Casting will be confirmed at a later date.
OUT OF âVERSE INFO
Please be aware that if you sign up to have your muse considered to be a part of the main cast for Secret Sibling, you are expected to be able and willing to try to fulfill monthly prompts and plan on being active for the majority of the run of the show. Since muses are paired up for this event, itâs very important to have active members participating in it so that everyone has a chance to participate. If youâre anticipating an extended period of low activity some time in the next three to four months, it may be best to sit this one out! There will be more opportunities in the future!
If youâre interested in having your muse participate in this opportunity, there are two steps.
STEP ONE: If you are interested in your muse being part of the main cast, please fill out this survey here (mostly) in-character. This will be your official expression of interest for the event but step two must also be completed in addition to step one order to officially enter your muse into consideration for being cast as a main cast member!
You may submit multiple muses for consideration to be cast in this Base event on separate forms, but muns will only have multiple muses cast if there are remaining open spots. Please submit your muses in order of casting priority (first submission should be the muse youâd like prioritized for casting).
STEP TWO: Write a solo completing both the casting video prompt and the greeting voice recording prompt in the in-character information above with a character count of at least 400 words and tag it with #fmdsecretaudition. You will have until Tuesday, August 4 at 11:59PM EDT to complete this step. You may earn three points once for completing this and it will not count toward your month limit.
Note:Â For this show, step two can be completed without step one for the points if you do not wish for your muse to actually became a main cast member, just make sure not to complete step one if thatâs the case! This can be done for muns that donât want their muse to be a part of the main cast!
Any further questions should be directed to the mainâs ask box!
GUIDELINES
CASTING:
Tentatively, up to twenty muses will be able to be cast on the show for up to ten pairs. If the interested muses who complete both steps by the designated date exceeds twenty or if the number submitted cannot make equal pairs, the cast will be decided by random generator for fairness (using the first priority muse for anyone who submits for multiple muses).
Additional casting opportunities for later in the show as cameos may become available at a later date.
