to say that sehoon had a lot of songs in mind that he wants to make a cover of would be an understatement. at some point, he thinks it's become second nature to him by now, an acquired interest from his line of work and the passion he has for music in general. this made choosing a song to use for a cover to be quite tricky. there were too many good options to choose from, but he and jiah have decided to go with ‘rewrite the stars’. it’s admittedly a very good song, and also one of the many reasons why he agreed to do it in a heartbeat. it's a wonderful piece and luckily just within his vocal range. to say he's excited to do this would also be another understatement.

the company said it’d be simple and she was fine with that. she could even see it from the sets that had been built around. “isn’t this great?” she turned to jiah with a huge smile. her arm going to link with the other woman’s comfortably. they had reached this point right? and they still had a bit of time before hair and make-up rolled around. “and i don’t think i said this or asked or maybe i did but i’m going to do it again. one, you’re vocals are amazing. two, thank you for doing the song with me.” the company had told her about it and told her the singers they were planning to contact. 

“and three, what do you think of the song? really? do i sound good enough?” she was just a lead vocal and she’d be standing next to jiah, she had to sound sort of good at least. 

The skyline view filled with skyscrapers as far as the eye can see, sunset paints the world a warm orange glow that soothes the soul and the comfort of soft duvet lulling her to sleep - all of this had only ever been a girl’s dream of luxury. A distant wish upon a shooting star, and maybe Sungyeon had wished hard enough, because when she opens her eyes in the mornings she finds herself existing in this very place which had once upon a time seemed so out of reach for a girl who once just drifted wherever the sea would take her.

In a way, she was still dancing to someone else’s tunes.

BC had the brilliant mind of transfering the five young females halfway across the globe; guinea pigs for an experiment fuelled by greed and money, and she may not know much of the world, but she knows greed only breeds suffering. Overwhelming is an understatement - she doesn’t believe there exists a word to really describe and capture the emotions she feels about being shipped away like products to sell (because, from a business perspective, they were), but overwhelming came rather close. It is in times like these she is grateful for the existence of four other girls to share her pain and burden with.

At the very least, she is not all alone in this big city.

The mattress dips slightly with the weight of another body present; a light shuffle of duvet cover against skin notifies her of the awakening of another being. Slowly, as not to wake the other further, she turns her body around to face her companion with a small amused smile adorning her face. The older female is already cute, but even more so now when she is so cozily wrapped up and buried under the duvet covers.

“Unnie…” her voice is barely a whisper when she calls out to the older female; scared to disturb the serene atmosphere and it is so unlike her yet she is a little too dozy to take notice or even care how uncharacteristic it is of her to even care about the state of the universe. Perhaps with Yoon Jiah she could make an exception. Sungyeon is buzzing with exhilarated energy from finally getting a well-deserved rest from schedules, and because she wants to distract herself from it, she reaches a hand out towards the older female, tapping the tip of her nose with her index finger.

There weren’t many people that Youngmi felt one hundred percent comfortable with. Her laidback and cool demeanor had proven in the past to be a pretty big deterrence for the people who were ever interested in befriending her. She’d be lying if she said it didn’t bother her in the past. That in the past she didn’t crave friendship, and to a certain extent she still did, but she refused to be someone that she wasn’t just for the sake of friendships. She was already forced to be someone she wasn’t out in the public eye, she didn’t want to have to keep up that persona in the privacy of her own personal relationships.

♘ — Do they believe humanity/their species, as a whole, to be moving in the ‘right’ direction or the ‘wrong’ one? Why do they believe this?

Overall, the “wrong” one, for sure. Joohwan doesn’t think humanity has quite reached the point of no return yet – or ever, really, he truly believes there will always be a way to change things so long as there’s, you know, people alive for that –, but he’s not unaware of the consequences of capitalism in several aspects. The material is an obvious one, as the levels of world poverty increase and the rich get richer. The environmental is also another obvious one and, as someone who’s majoring in Chemistry with the goal of going into Environmental Studies at one point, he’s aware of the actual technicalities of it beyond the whole global warming bad. But he also sees the damage that it’s doing to people’s minds. More than ever depression and anxiety are being diagnosed, and he’s one of the people that struggle so much because of the pressure capitalism puts into profit and productivity. Again, he believes there’s a way to change because otherwise he’d spend every single day being a miserable person.

♡  — How would your muse define love? Do they believe in soulmates? Do they believe this definition of love is achievable?

This is all about romantic love because going into platonic and familial love is too much for him.

For Hwan, love is partially a choice. It’s consciously choosing to be with someone, choosing to put in the effort, choosing to get to know them better, to share a life with them. He doesn’t believe in two people being predisposed to be together, he doesn’t believe that soulmates are a thing, especially because that’s erasing the people who love more than one person at a time. He believes there are people who complement each other, whose temperament are just a perfect fit for each other, but that there isn’t only just one option for that either. It’s all about that conscious choice, it’s meeting someone who charms you and you want to put in that effort to be with. For a long time, he thought love wasn’t a thing he was ever going to have because, as much of a hopeless romantic he is inside, he didn’t think he was good enough to be truly loved by anyone.

it has almost become a ritual by now, kiko being called over to jiah’s apartment when she needs someone to finish the delectable baked goods she so often makes, and honestly? kiko isn’t complaining. sure, it may not be great for maintaining her diet, but who can resist the thought of yoon jiah's pastries? not kiko, that’s for sure. besides, she knows she will burn off all those calories in the practice room soon after anyway, since she does spend a good part of her days just dancing in there.

today though, kiko decided a little change was now in order. thus birthed the idea of having jiah teach kiko how to bake. she has never been of much help in the kitchen and personally, she thinks that baking is arguably slightly more challenging than just cooking, since the ingredient ratios are so important. so there is a high chance that she will drive jiah mad with her lack of proficiency, but it’s too late. there’s no backing out now, for either of them, seeing as kiko is already standing right before jiah’s door. “knock knock!” she shouts as she knocks on the door, a wide grin present on her face as she bounces lightly on her feet in excitement.

                 checking  social  media  was  about  to  become  a  completely  new  task  in  ryuyoung’s  every  day  life  since  the  outbreak  in  media  about  her  and  jiah  presenting  themselves  as  chaebol  siblings  ,  or  at  least  that’s  what  the  public  thought  about  them  at  that  very  moment.  ever  since  she  became  a  trainee  ,  she  was  taught  that  good  press  does  wonders  in  one’s  career  although  what  came  out  of  this  event  wasn’t  foreseen  by  anyone  ,  and  she  was  grateful  for  nice  words.  that  was  also  the  time  when  she  realized  how  fast  these  articles  were  spread  and  how  wide  the  internet  is  as  the  day  hasn’t  fully  finished  yet  but  their  faces  were  seen  all  over  the  place  ,  giving  them  spotlight  and  definitely  something  in  common  to  talk  about.

walking  out  of  the  event  venue  ,  ryuyoung’s  eyes  were  focused  on  finding  jiah  ,  endlessly  scanning  the  crowd  for  the  familiar  face  she  caught  up  with  before  but  with  no  luck  at  the  time  as  she  was  rushed  into  her  car  by  the  management.  as  soon  as  they  arrived  at  the  destination  ,  she  got  out  of  the  vehicle  ,  repeating  her  previous  search.  after  a  few  seconds  ,  there  she  was  ,  waiting  at  the  entrance  to  step  into  the  club  alongside  some  staff  who  seemed  to  simply  be  leaving  her  on  her  own  to  enjoy  the  night.  deep  down  she  hoped  that  the  exact  same  would  happen  with  her  manager  ,  but  female  knew  this  was  an  impossible  favor  to  ask.  

getting their hands dirty had never been an issue to eunjae, growing up. how could it be when they were raised by a painter? eunjae and their siblings were given the freedom to play with paint as they wished to, to do whatever they wanted and express their creativity in all the ways they thought fit. there was never a moment when either of their parents attempted to curb their artistic interest – if anything, they would just try to get washable paint so the kids could play around without having to worry about stains. eunjae found the process of dirtying their hands while working with art practically therapeutic. no wonder pottery ended up being one of their chosen activities when they were offered different options on what to do at the resort.
