A pair of naval officer's flintlock pocket pistols by Nock, London, early 19th century
A painting experiment I did a year or so ago to try out different ways to render one of my drawing. Yup, no watercolor.
Flintlocks
I tend to think sport hunting is barbaric, but give these guys a pass because that 18th C. drip is strong, plus flintlocks are fun.

Idk there's just somethign about a flintlock that is so irrevocably *sexy* like wdym you took 30 seconds to load a weapon with one shot and that one shot is for me and if you miss I get a chance to kill you, how is that NOT sexy
Went to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, have some blurry pictures of flintlocks
I want to make a space marine chapter based on the dutch golden age now, imagine the stupidity of flintlock bolt pistols
"Have at thee, heretic!"
*Blam*
*30 seconds of frenzied reloading*
*dies of charging Khornate Berserker*
Should I? I could take the piss with the whole golden age rhetoric?
