Can I pretty please get "hugging with height-difference" with my beloved Wally?
Only cause you said pretty please
24. Hugging with a height difference

âWhen you fall, Iâm gonna have to catch you, you know that, right?â he says, watching as she climbs the counter, one leg cocked sideways the other with her knee pressed into the marble as she lifts herself up with her arms.
âIâm not gonna fall,â she retorts, opening up the cabinet. âIâve been doing this since I was like eight. Iâm a pro at climbing counters by now.â
âUh huh,â Wally answers, amusement in his tone as he simply keeps watching her. Something in him jolts with a fear when she manages to come to a full stand up on the counter, arm shoved back into the cabinet as she scrounges around for whatever it is sheâs looking for. âWhat are you looking for again, babe?â
She grunts as she yanks something out, stares at it, then shoves it back in and keeps rummaging. âTupperware to put the takeout in.â
âIâm going to eat it all before dinner?â
âNot mine youâre not,â she retorts and pulls out a blue lidded Tupperware bowl with a triumphant noise. âGot it!â she shouts with joy and takes a step back, but itâs bigger than she anticipates, and her joy quickly turns to fear as her foot slips off the counter. Her hand is slapping for the cabinet door, fingers grasping it but it slips through her fingers and she braces herself for impact.
It never comes.
Warm, strong arms wrap around her, and her feet touch the ground, safe and sound. She looks up at Wally as he stares down at her with an expression of worry thatâs slowly calming; he smiles. âTold you that I was gonna have to catch you.â
Her expression softens and she wraps her arms around his waist, burying her face in his chest as he rests his chin on her head, arms tight around her. âThanks, Wally.â

âYouâre gonna end up getting yourself killed, Y/N.â His voice carried a certain kind of harshness that he only ever used with me, a tone that was always sure to cause silence to fall over the Star Labs group as we walked in. Before I joined the team it was rare to ever hear Barry raise his voice, yet my arrival had made it a rather common thing.Â
âYa know, a thank you would suffice Barr.â The sight of my snarky smile was most definitely enough to power Barry up for another one of super-lectures, but Cisco cut him off before he even had the chance to open his mouth.Â
âThink you guys could give it a rest for one night?â He proposed, moving slightly to stand in-between Barry and I.Â
It only took a glance around the room to see that the entirety of Team Flash had become quickly frustrated with our regular outbursts. It was hard to blame them really. After all, it was at least once or twice a week that Barry and I were bursting through the doors chewing each others heads off about something new.Â
Barry let out a sigh, clearly still frustrated and not fully willing to follow Ciscoâs suggestion. âI just donât get it. Itâs like you think you are made of steel or something, Y/N. Or like you are just immune to everything. You are constantly putting yourself in the middle of danger and one of these days Iâm not gonna be fast enough to save you!âÂ
âDid you ever think that I donât need you to save me?â I remarked. âIâve saved my own ass more than once, havenât I? Iâve only been here a couple of months and Iâve already done my fair share of putting up with the bad guys and ya know what Barr? I always make it out! Even when you arenât there!âÂ
Once again the all-too-familiar silence fell over the lab as everyone tried desperately to get rid of the tension that Barry and I brought to the room. Cisco was the first to open his mouth, probably to offer up another bit about how the two of us needed to stop fighting and just enjoy our win for the night, but before he could even get his first word out Barry had already beat him to it.Â
âOkay. I get it.â Barry held his hands up in defense despite the exasperated expression that still painted his face. âIâll stop trying to save you.âÂ
And with that the speedster was quick to bring his most annoying habit to light once again as he dashed out of the room before anyone could say another word to him. Typical I thought, shaking my head while staring at the spot where he took residence just mere seconds ago.Â
After a moment my gaze shifted to Cisco, who was still standing in front of me. I couldnât quite pin what his expression was trying to say, but it looked a bit like disappointment. âWhat?â I asked, confused as to how I was the one deserving of that look.Â
âYou donât have to be so hard on the guy, Y/N.âÂ
I scoffed, âMe? He treats me like Iâm made of glass, Cisco. Iâm tired of him always seeing me as so much weaker than the rest of you guys. I did the same thing today that any of you would have and yet Iâm the only one that he would humiliate in front of the whole team for not being able to take care of myself.âÂ
What I said wasnât wrong. It wasnât like I had been purposely seeking out danger anyways. I was already at Jitters when the man came in, armed and making it more than clear that he was willing to fire if anyone acted against him. Even when Barry arrived I had stayed out of it, up until it came down to someoneâs life being at risk. I could see the look on the mans face as he held that man hostage, gun pointed to his head and ready to shoot at Barryâs slightest move. I was in a good position to gain the mans attention from behind and so I did, allowing Barry the chance he needed to save a life and take the gun. And, of course, no one could argue. Not Cisco, not Caitlin, and not Iris. Because every single one of them had been in a similar position before and all of us had put ourselves in harms way to try to help someone else. But I was the only one that had to deal with Barryâs attitude afterwards.Â
âLook,â Caitlin began, walking up and placing a hand on my shoulder and offering a small smile, clearly trying to continue combatting the tension that was left behind, âI get it. We all do. And I know that you and Barry have a...â she trailed off for a moment, clearly struggling to find the right word,ârough relationship. But I know that heâs only acting that way because he cares about you and doesnât want you hurt.âÂ
âAnd does he not care about the rest of you?â I asked, knowing that she wouldnât be able to find a response to the question. âYeah. Exactly. But Iâm the only one that has to deal with that.â I gestured to the doorway where he had just sped out of the conversation as per usual.Â
All I could offer after that was a light smile. I appreciated them being so kind and I wasnât trying to tear apart their attempt at being kind. But it also didnât matter much anymore. I had been a part of this team for months now and I hadnât come any closer to proving to Barry that I can carry my own weight, let alone getting him to actually like me.Â
Since Barry had ran off it didnât take long for the rest of the team to say their goodbyes and go their separate ways for the night.Â
The walk home certainly wasnât a kind one. Late nights at Star Labs were always my least favorite, seeing as though my apartment was just a bit too close for me to feel comfortable asking any of them to drop me off at home, but a bit too far for me to really feel at ease walking alone at night. After all, there were a plethora of reasons for a woman to feel uncomfortable walking on an empty street in the middle of the night.Â
âHey pretty lady,âÂ
Such as that.Â
My eyes followed the sound of the gravely voice, seeing a man around his mid-forties leaning against the light post, flashing me the grossest grin anyone could ever possibly muster.Â
I didnât respond, forcing a tightlipped smile and trying to walk past him, hoping that he was just a creepy old man and not an actual threat.Â
âWell hey now!â He called out, latching onto my wrist as I tried to go past him. âWhere ya off to angel?âÂ
I pulled at my arm, trying to get it out of his grip which was tightening by the second, âIâm catching up with a friend. Heâs actually just a couple of blocks ahead.â I lied.Â
The man snorted, rolling his eyes at my excuse. âReally? Cause I been here for a while darlinâ and I ainât see no one come through here except you.â He yanked on my wrist to pull me closer to his body, his other hand falling to my waist. The smell of liquor and cigarettes was overwhelming. As he inched closer to my face I instinctively went to raise my one free hand to push him away when, suddenly-in a flash-he was gone.Â
âAre you ok?â Were the first words out of the speedsters mouth as he magically reappeared right in front of me, reaching out to grab my shoulders gently, scanning over my body looking for any sign of me being hurt by that creep.Â
âFine.â I didnât mean to sound as harsh as I did, still a bit overwhelmed and filled with anxiety. âThank you.â I added on, trying to soften the blow.Â
Barry nodded in response, letting his hands fall from my shoulders. There was a silence that fell over the two of us for a split moment before he decided to break it. âCan I take you home?âÂ
On any other night I would have quickly declined that offer, immediately writing it off as Barry thinking I need his supervision in order to do absolutely anything without getting hurt. But, seeing as though I did actually benefit from his help tonight, I decided to put my pride to the side and accept the offer. âUh, yeah. Thank you.â I replied, âIâm just down the street off of-â before the directions to my apartment even left my mouth I was already being grabbed gently by the speedster and being sped to the door of my apartment. âI guess you know the way?â I finished, slightly dumbstruck as he let me back down from his arms.Â
His cheeks were slightly flushed, a hand flying to the back of his neck as he looked down the hall of my apartment complex. âIris has actually mentioned where you live a few times so I just kind of remembered.âÂ
I glanced back the door to my apartment, the shiny number 15 on the door. I highly doubted that Iris had mentioned the exact apartment I lived in, seeing as though that wasnât exactly just casual conversation between friends. âIris told you which number I was in?âÂ
Barry didnât reply to that one, his mouth gaped open like he was trying to think up a response with absolutely no words coming to his rescue.Â
âYa know... I donât wanna sound ungrateful here, Barr,â I started as the wheels in my head began to turn, âbecause you really saved my ass back there from that creep. But you donât even live in this direction? So what were you even doing here?âÂ
The red color painted his cheeks was damn near as dark as cherries and he was still struggling to form words, a series of âuhâs and âwellâs escaping his lips with no other words.Â
And, then, it clicked into place perfectly.Â
âYou followed me, didnât you?â The words made his eyes widen to the size of saucers, answering my question without him ever having to say a single word. âYouâve gotta be kidding me Allen.â I scoffed, âOkay. Donât get me wrong, ok? I am really grateful that you helped me tonight. But I do not need you following me home! Iâm not that helpless!âÂ
âWell you needed my help tonight.â Barry offered up in his defense.Â
âYes! And I already thanked you for that.â I reminded him. âBut that doesnât mean you can go following me home at night just waiting for me to get myself into trouble and be too weak to stop it. Iâm not some damsel constantly waiting for the Flash to come to my rescue!â I watched as Barry glanced around the hall, making sure no one else was around to hear me yelling about the Flash. âDo you follow everyone else home?â I asked. âOr is it literally just me that you think canât protect themself?âÂ
âI just wanted to make sure you were sa-âÂ
âWhat did I do to make you think Iâm so damn helpless Barry!â I cut him off, my frustration quickly growing into desperation. Months on end of having him treat me like I was made of glass had finally caught up to me. I was tired of feeling?â like a liability to the team. âWhat the hell did I do to make you hate me so much?âÂ
Barry frowned at my words. âWhat?â The word escaped his lips seemingly without his permission, confusion crossing over his features. âWhy would I hate you?â He asked, âI donât think youâre weak either, Y/N. I just get-â He hesitated, sighing slightly, âscared, I guess. That someone is gonna use you against me and you are going to get hurt.âÂ
âWhy would anyone use me against you?âÂ
âBecause I care about you?â He said it as though it were the most obvious thing in the world.Â
âOkay,â I blinked, shaking my head slightly as I tried to piece everything together. âThat doesnât explain why Iâm the only one constantly catching the worst of your attitude Barr. You care about everyone else too and yet you donât scream at them every day because you are scared theyâre gonna be used against you or something!âÂ
âItâs different.â Yet again, he said it as though it were extremely obvious and needed no further explanation.Â
âBecause you think I canât protect myself?âÂ
âBecause I love you?â The words came out as a bit more of a question that Barry probably intended, and from the look on his face it seemed like the fact that they were even said was just as shocking to him as it was me.Â
I could only imagine how stupid I looked, standing in front of him with my mouth slightly agape as I tried to process what he said. âUm...â was the only thing my brain could really force out.Â
âYou donât have to say anything.â It came out as more of a plead than a statement, âAbout that, at least. I know that it makes like no sense and probably sounds stupid but just-I donât know Y/N-I care about you. I donât think youâre weak. And I know Iâve been annoying,â he paused, burying his face in his hands for a moment before continuing, âbut itâs just because I donât think I could stand losing you.â After a brief pause he laughed slightly, âWhich is pretty funny since I donât even have you.âÂ
I wanted to speak. I wanted to say something. But all I could do was stand in silence, trying to take in everything he said. I mean, after all, going from thinking someone hated you for several months to finding out they actually might love you? Is quite a bit of information to work through.Â
Barry seemed to notice my inability to speak, forcing a small-and very fake smile. âYou should really get some rest.â He said, taking a step backwards as he prepared to leave, âAnd just, I donât know, try to forget about that stuff ok? All that matters is that you know I donât think you canât take care of yourself. Forget about everything else, alright?âÂ
As he went to turn around to disappear down the hallway I quickly reached out, grabbing his wrist and pulling him back towards. me. âI donât want to.â The words fell out of my mouth without permission, causing Barry to cock his head in confusion at me, our bodies mere inches apart. âI donât know,â I began âI donât know if I... love you.â He nodded his head in understanding at my words, despite the flash of pain that spread across his features. âBut I want to see if I can.âÂ
Neither of us spoke for a moment, but Barry stepped closer, his body practically pressed against mine as his wrist was still caught in my shaky hand. I had been this close to Barry before, nearly every time he had to pick me up and run me away from danger. But this was the first time that I had ever paid so much attention to him. The smell of his cologne was intoxicating, so warm and light. And his face. God his face. In all these months I had never really taken the time to see how beautiful Barry was. Obviously I could see that he was an attractive man but I never took the time to admire it. The freckles that littered his face, the cute way his nose was scrunching up as he tried to determine what to do next.Â
âI donât know what to do next.â Barry admitted.
âWell...â I trailed. âYou could start by kissing me.âÂ
A nerdy grin took over his face as his hands went up to rest on my waist, pulling me even closer to him. âGladly.âÂ
Imagine #114 Barry Allen and Cisco Ramon [Requested]
A/N: Fourth part is finally here! First part is #105, second is #107 and third is #111.
S.T.A.R Laboratories is a nightmare; the suffocating tension within Team Flash is disorienting, the friction is bubbling to a dangerous level, the team is on the brink of imploding, and soon someone is bound to be scarred.Â
Thereâs the peaceful strum of guitar strings accompanied by gentle humming, an exasperated sigh escaping Ciscoâs pursed mouth as he hangs his head and his hands fall against the frigid tabletop, screwdriver in hand clattering against the steel. The distant sound of your whimsical laughter causes his heart to flutter as the monochrome images of his nightmares flicker behind his closed eyes; Barryâs enamored hazel-green eyes staring into yours so lovestricken that it makes his stomach lurch. An uncomfortably familiar set of floral sheets under his bare freckled shoulders as he props his stubbled cheek on his palm and smiles down at your peaceful expression. That beautiful smile, that until now, heâd known for himself, beaming up at him as you nuzzle Barryâs nose and kiss him sweetly. âI am in love with you, Barry Allen.â âAnd I am in love with you.â Ciscoâs vision returns, opening his saddened eyes as he directs his void expression at the latest device heâs drowned himself in. Heâd do anything to keep his distance from you, it pained him, but he needed to sort through his conflicting emotions and determine if his vibe was from another Earth, another timeline or, lord help him, if you were actually cheating on him.Â
âThatâs horrible. I am sorry, Iris.â The statement wouldâve sounded sincere had it not been for the grin brightening your expression and the laughter on your tongue. It was no secret that there was a strange and painfully awkward tension of silent struggles in the air surrounding you, Cisco and Barry; so as your closest friend, Iris took it upon herself to entertain you with her horror stories of speed dating. âMaybe Iâll go with you next time.âÂ
âNothing has gotten better with Cisco?â The question makes your chest ache, warm tears threatening to sting the corners of your eyes as you fight off the urge to cry. Everything falls silent as you shake your head, a disgruntled sigh falling from Irisâ mouth as she crosses her arms. âI love Cisco but Iâll rough him up if you want me to?â Her offer, however sweet, wouldnât help the situation but it makes you giggle nonetheless.Â
âItâs okay. I just...wish heâd break-up with me if thatâs what heâs trying to do. Itâd hurt less than not knowing.â She mightâve offered sage advice or a form of affectionate sympathy, youâd never know because as soon as she opened her mouth to speak she was cut off by a hoarse voice of solemn words.Â
âYou want me to break-up with you?â Iris wanted to tell Cisco to get lost; the frown on her face said it all, but instead she picked up her coffee offering you a soft smile before glaring at him on her way out of the cortex. It was a silent warning; donât screw this up. âTalk to me, babe.â His tone is affectionate and gentle but his words wake the confusion and frustration from the two weeks of the cold shoulder and silence you received from him.Â
âNow you wanna talk?â The edge to your voice made him frown and retract his hand as heâd reached out to touch you. âI donât mean to be a bitch but Iâve been in the dark for two weeks, Cisco. I have no idea what Iâve done to you for you to phase me out like this. I thought things were going well.â You hesitate, leaning over the computers as you lower your voice. âWeâd just told each other we loved each other for the first time and then you just blocked me out. Did you not mean to say it? Were you not ready? We tell each other everything.â
âDo we?â He snapped, releasing a huff as he ran his trembling hands through his soft black tendrils. He thought he was ready to have this discussion but now he realized, too late, that he shouldâve waited until the wounds werenât so fresh. Until the images of whatever it is he vibed didnât feel so...real.Â
âWhat is that supposed to mean?â
âWhatâs going on with you and Barry?â The accusation in his tone threw you off, faltering for a moment as your brows furrowed and your mind fought to keep up.Â
âMe and Barry? What do you mean?â
âYou know exactly what I mean.â His statement elicits a shiver down your spine and goosebumps across your arms. Heâs never been so harsh toward you before.
âNo, I donât. There is no me and Barry. You knew when we started dating that thereâd been something between me and Barry almost two years ago. Everyone on Team Flash knew. You said you were okay with it. What changed?âÂ
âYou lied to me. Thatâs what changed.â
âIâve never lied to you, Cisco.â
âYou said it wasnât serious.â He whispers, warm tears blurring his vision as his chocolate brown eyes meet yours in a heartbroken gaze. âI vibed it and I canât stop seeing it. You and him together, in your bed, the same bed that weâve shared. You both saying you love each other.â
âWhat?â You question both bewildered as that has never happened and thrown off as heâd promised you heâd never vibe you. âIf youâre implying what I think youâre implying, Barry and I have never had sex and we never got to that stage. We saw each other casually. I am not gonna lie and say I didnât start to fall for him but he broke it off. He said that being the Flash was dangerous and he couldnât put me in that position. He broke my heart and I moved on.âÂ
âI donât understand.â He murmurs, swallowing the dryness in his throat and wiping at his eyes with the back of his hand. âI very clearly, and heartbreakingly, saw it. I canât stop seeing it.â His calloused hand reaches out carefully, fingertips brushing against the soft flesh of your hand as he intertwines your fingers. âItâs why Iâve avoided you. Every time I close my eyes, itâs all I can see. You telling him you love him, the way heâs looking at you as he tells you he loves you too.âÂ
âCisco.â You sigh, placing your palms on his cheeks as you cradle his face. âIt.â You press a warm slow kiss to his mouth. âNever.â Kiss. âHappened.â The last kiss is sensual and passionate, a moan rumbling deep in his throat as your tongue caresses his. He sets his forehead against yours as he pulls away, warm breath fanning over your lips as you nuzzle your nose against his. âI love you, Cisco.â
âI love you.â He whispers, biting his bottom lip before stealing another lingering kiss. âI am sorry. For ignoring you and for vibing you. Itâs just, after that night at my apartment, I could see in your eyes that something was wrong. Something you werenât telling me. So I vibed you, maybe I was scared you didnât mean it or maybe I just thought I was helping. I didnât really think it through, I just...did it. And I am sorry.â It felt like something clicked, a lingering guilt burning in your chest as you made eye contact with him.Â
âThere was something I wasnât telling you. I wasnât sure how to feel about it because I was so angry, confused and hurt.â You murmured, gnawing on your lower lip as you pulled away from your boyfriend. âRemember when we collectively decided we didnât want to know what our lives were like before Flashpoint?â
âYeah, we all agreed in the cortex after Iris lectured us.â He chuckles but the look you give him wipes the amusement from his face. âWhy?â
âBarry.â You start, squeezing his hand as he instinctively tries to pull away. âHe told me that uh, he and I were meant to be together. That we were supposed to be married.âÂ
âHe said, I am sorry, what?â He snaps, shooting from his seat as he yanks his hand from your grasp and you almost topple from the desk chair. âWha-I donât understand. Why would he just say that?!â Heâs pacing now, biting his nails as he begins to stomp back and forth. Heâs growing angry, you can almost feel the aggression rolling from his body in waves. âYou-You never wouldâve asked. Why would he say that to you?â
âI donât want to say.â You whisper, avoiding his gaze as you stare at the sneakers on your feet. You wanted to be honest, but this truth would fracture Team Flash in a way that may never be fixed.Â
âWhy did he say that.â Itâs no longer a question but a repeated statement, heâs trying to be patient with you, he is but he can feel that youâre trying to protect Barry and it makes his insides boil. âY/N, why.â
âBecause heâs in love with me.â That truth tumbling from your trembling lips set forth a devastating domino effect; Cisco lunges for the computer in the center console, fingers banging against the keyboard with an aggressive determination. The shriek of the cortex alarm blaring causes you to cover your ears, the emergency lights flooding the room in a menacing maroon glow as the building is shut in darkness and Team Flash starts appearing in confusion and concern. Youâre unsure of what everyoneâs whereabouts were or how theyâd all seemed to make it here in such haste but you were certain that this, whatever was about to transpire, was going to be even worse with everyone else here to witness it. Thereâs a familiar sound of a deep whoosh as the neon yellow lightning bursts through the doorway, panic on Barryâs expression as he searches for the threat. Cisco found enough restraint in himself, or maybe he just wanted his outburst to be heard, to shut the alarms off.
âWhatâs going-â Barryâs confusion is interrupted by a blast of energy barreling at him from Ciscoâs balled fist, the force sending him flying across the room. Thereâs a deafening crack echoing throughout the cortex, plaster crumbling from the massive crater in the wall, thereâs a pained groan from Barry as he releases a dry cough and settles on his hands and knees.Â
âWhat the hell, Cisco?â Wally grumbles, the crunching of rubble under his sneaker soles as he helps his brother find his footing. Heâs not given a chance to follow up as heâs interrupted by the desperate plea from your trembling mouth. Please, donât. The request was lost in a broken whisper, the remaining members of the team exchanging perplexed glances before everyone was startled from the momentary silence.Â
âWhat is your problem, Barry?!â Ciscoâs rhetorical exclamation shook Barry from his bewildered state, he hadnât a chance to question his friend before guilt plummet into the depths of his stomach as he continued. âWhy canât you just let me be happy?â The atmosphere in the cortex thickens with a strange tension as a wave of distorted energy ripples around his silhouette. âChanging the timeline with no afterthought or concern for anyone else, getting my brother killed and now this,â He stammers, meeting your gaze before the rippling energy aura surrounding him grows. âI thought you were my best friend, Barry. Iâve always been on your side, but then I find out that youâre trying to steal away the only happiness I still have? It kills you, doesnât it?â He prods, approaching the speedster with a few calculated side steps. âKnowing that you messed up. You had to change the timeline but you didnât think that itâd change your relationship. Sheâs not yours here. She doesnât love you here.â Heâs almost nose to nose with his friend as he whispers. âShe will never love you here, because she loves me. Sheâs mine here.âÂ
âGuys, maybe we should take a breather.â Caitlinâs delicate voice suggests frowning at the conflicted and troubled expressions on the remainder of Team Flashâs faces. Thereâs no response, the moment is interrupted by an electrical current rippling throughout the atmosphere followed by an abrupt wave of energy that knocks everyone to the floor. The following moments seem to pass in slow motion, the sensation of arms wrapping themselves around your frame adds to the confusion as you begin to blink away the haze and examine the surroundings.Â
âAre you alright?â Barryâs winded voice whispers in distress, gloved palm wiping the shrapnel of glass fragments from your disheveled hair as he searches for any visible wounds. âAre you hurt?â
âI am alright.â You cough, fingertips instinctively touching the scratches across his porcelain cheeks. âAre you okay?â
âI am not worried about me.â He whispers back, fingers threading through your hair, cupping your cheek in an affectionate gesture as his thumb caresses the flesh subconsciously. Given the explosive argument, he shouldnât have been doing this, anyone involved in a similar situation would distance themselves. Cisco is like a brother to him; so why couldnât he let this go? Why couldnât he let you go?Â
âWhereâs Cisco?â Wallyâs dazed voice questions, the crunching of shattered glass interrupting the silence as everyone attempts to compose themselves. The mention of your boyfriendâs name sours the moment, causing Barry to recoil from the interaction as he clears his throat and helps you stand carefully.
âHe disappeared in a breach.â Barryâs response is interrupted by a startled gasp and a chorus of curses. Somewhere in the chaos, a shard of glass had lodged itself into Joeâs torso. No one knew the extent of the damage caused by the accident, only that the amount of blood staining the button up shirt heâd worn to work that day, it felt severe enough for everyone to hold a certain level of anger toward Cisco for the whole outburst.Â
Summary: Y/nâs relationship with Barry has been strained since he became the Flash. Itâs time to end things.Â
WC: 463
She watched him leave, once again. She wasnât sure how much longer she could take of him leaving in the middle of dates, or not even showing up just to go see Iris because "she needed me Y/n". It felt quite pathetic how she still stuck around near him, knowing how bad he was for her, making her not his first, not even his second or third, but his fourth priority.
Sighing deeply she plopped herself onto the couch, her arms wrapped around her legs, knees tucked under her chin. She had been thinking that she deserved better than to be treated as an afterthought. Groaning she swept a hand through her hair, and stood up. She walked towards the shelf that held a very special picture, the day that Barry had proposed to her, and smiled sadly, a tear rolling down her cheek and falling onto the glass of the picture frame. Sniffling, she wipes it away and twisted the ring on her left-hand ring finger. Pulling it off, she sets it on top of the picture.
âGoodbye Bartholomew Allen.â she murmurs and walks out of the apartment. Leaving all of her things behind, just trying to leave almost everything behind and forgetting the last few years of her life.
It wasnât until the next morning, the Barry barged into their shared apartment, spewing out some ridiculous tale about what happened to him and Iris that he noticed that it was eerily quiet. Frowning he checked the bedroom first, trying to see if Y/n was still sleeping. Walking inside he noticed that the bed was still the same mess they had left it the previous morning. Speeding through the apartment he checked the entire apartment, finding her phone and a piece of paper on the kitchen table. Picking the paper up he noticed that there were tears on it, ink bleeding in some parts and read it.
Hey bar, sorry but we canât... no, I can't carry on like this, I'm so sorry. You deserve to be with Iris, you two have an unspoken thing. I'm sorry I ever thought I could be enough for you, be happy with her okay?Â
     Y/n
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw something shiny, getting up to see it he noticed it was your engagement ring, and sighed deeply. He had loved you, maybe not enough, but if the future had said that he and Iris were meant to be together, what else could he do? Â
Where would Y/n go, he wondered? Shaking his head he knew this was your decision, he hadnât felt as in love with you as he used to be and knew this was the best decision. He knew it had been the last time heâd ever see you.
A/N: This has been in my drafts for the longest time, since January 2018. I originally had this continue to include a westallen wedding but I liked this short break up more. The title comes from the song Dear Happy by Dodie which I vividly remember being the song I listened to while I wrote this. Hope you guys enjoy it!Â
Imagine: Being Hunter Zolomonâs younger sister and after he is revealed as Zoom he has to tell you he still loves you and cares for you. [Gif Credits Below Cut]
Y/N: You... Youâre him- That means-
Hunter: -It doesnât change anything between us. Weâre still family.
Y/N: It changes everything, Hunter! As Zoom... All those things that you did... How? Why?Â
Hunter: Itâs too much to explain- all you need to know is I still love you. I still care about you.

Request: Hi! Same anon from before! Could I get some barrisco angst then? Like maybe an argument? Barry is mad/confused why Cisco gave up his powers and he like lists reasons why he could've/shouldve kept them and then it escalates a bit with Cisco telling Barry to stop and stuff like that. Just make it really angsty LMAO :)Â
Prompt: Barry finds out Cisco plans to give up his powers and they get into an argument.
Words: 552
Warning: Angst?Â
A/N: So i kinda got carried away and finished it at like 1am lol let me know if you like it! It was fun writing this.Â
âYou want to do what?â Barry frowned as he stared at Cisco who stood nervously in front of him.
âThe meta cure is perfectly safe and I want this for me. I really, really do.â Cisco said with pleading eyes, hoping that Barry would understand him and why he has to do this.
âWhy? Why would you want to do this?â Barry questioned, shaking his head in disapproval. âYou love your powers, you love everything about being a superhero! You are an important part of this team and now you just gonna walk away from it? From family?â
âItâs not like that! If you guys need me Iâll be here, okay? I just need some distance, I donât want to be in the field anymore like I use to and-â
âIs this because of her? Kamilla? Did she say something?â Barry asked trying to piece the situation together.
âWhat?â Cisco chuckled at the ridiculousness of Barry assumption.
âIs it her?!âÂ
âNo! And donât you dare bring her into this because she doesnât care what decision I make, she just wants me to be happy and I thought my best friend would too but I guess I was wrong!â Cisco yelled, looking at Barry straight in the eyes. His angry tone matching Barryâs as the argument got heated.
âThen what is it? What changed your mind about being Vibe? Why are you suddenly deciding to leave the team? â
âThere is a lot of reasons but the main thing is...I want a normal life, Barry.â
âA normal life? What are you talking about? I have a normal life, Joe has one too, we all do.â
âYou call your daughter traveling from the future to visit during the holidays normal? You are joking, right?â Cisco shook his at the craziness of their daily lives.
Barry sat down on one of the labs chairs as he ran his hands across his face and let out a frustrated sigh.
âThen what is it?â He looked up at Cisco who looked just as defeated as him.
âI have wanted this for a while now. I want a little less craziness, you know? I want to be able to walk home without looking over my shoulder and staying up late at night wondering when the next big bad will kill one of us. I want to stop jumping out of fear every time my phone rings. I want to be less scared of just living my life.â Cisco said with both sadness at the situation and relief at letting it all out in his voice. His eyes glistened with tears threatening to spill.Â
âYou are my best friend, Barry. You and I have been through so much together since the day Dr. Wells brought you here. I have supported every single crazy idea and have stood by your side during the most dangerous missions. So please, let me have this because I canât do this anymore.â
âYou right,â Barry said, shaking his head. He stood up immediately and hugged CiscoÂ
âThis is your decisions and as your friend, I should be more supportive, Iâm sorry. I just- the team wonât be the same without you but if it means you get the happiness you deserve then so be it. Iâm here for you, every step of the way.â
Requested by anon: can you do a Wally x reader where she is a vigilante and apart of the batfam and sheâs the grump grump and Wally is the ball of sunshine that balances out her grump grumpness
I donât think I did this prompt any justice because apparently I canât write grump/grumpy persons very well but the bright side, I wrote some Batsis x Wally so I am very happy because I really love writing Wally x Batsis?? I do apologise for butchering the prompt you requested but I still hope youâll enjoy this nevertheless!
P/S: I was supposed to post the TâChalla imagine like two days ago but I spent my days packing and watching Infinity War a couple of times during Premiere day because I am absolute trash. So it will probably gets posted sometime next week (left the document in my old laptop and I only brought my new one with me).Â
âWill you tell us how the two of you met, dears?â
Iris West-Allen looks at you and the moment she addressed the both of you causing everyone (and by everyone, you really only meant Irisâs husband, Barry and Wallyâs cousin, Bart) to turn to look at you, causing you to flush furiously at the attention. Wally chuckles as he throws his arm over your shoulders, knowing just how much you despise attention on you.
âUm, well,â You stutter smartly, looking away from Iris to narrow your eyes at Wally who seems to be having fun at your own expense. You elbow him and he wheezes causing you to smile at him sweetly. âHe would not leave me alone.âÂ
Wally rubs his side and chuckles once more. âBabe, thatâs not how we met.â He points out. âActually, I am friends with a few of Y/Nâs brothers and we met for the first time when one of Y/Nâs brothers got admitted in the hospital.â Wally explains and a smile appears on his face as he recalls the first time the two of you had met.
âDidnât you hit on her?â Bart pipes up and Wally chokes on saliva causing you to giggle quietly as you rub his back. Leave it to Bart to say the right things at the right time. You sneakily high-five Bart who winks at you. Wally clears his throat, rolling his eyes at his cousin. âSpoiler alert.â Bart pipes up lamely.
âWally, did you really hit on Y/N when her brother was admitted at the hospital?â Iris stares at her nephew with an incredulous expression and it is only because Barry has years of practice does he manages to keep a straight face upon hearing the revelation. Wally smiles sheepishly at Iris and he turns to stare at you, causing you to flush furiously again under his loving gaze. He reaches for your hair and tucks it behind your ear, taking that time to caress your cheek and at that moment, you suddenly wish you had accepted Damianâs offer of visiting the zoo because the attention on you is just too much.
âY/N doesnât really talk about this much because she just hates it but the first time we met, Y/N was actually crying over a cup of coffee and a croissant. So I gave her my tissue.â Wally recalls; some people might have found that image of you crying over a cup of coffee and croissant weird and unimaginable but Wally really cherishes that memory! Despite the fact that you had been crying, Wally still thinks you had been very beautiful then (and then he saw your smiling face and thatâs when Wally said goodbye to his own heart).
âYou mean you gave me a tissue with your number on it, Wally.â You retort and Wally laughs, nodding his head. He definitely had taken the chance to scribble his phone number on the tissue prior to handing it over to you. Even though initially you had been extremely confused because you had been super worried about Dick, once you had the chance to actually think about what Wally had done, you had blushed hard.Â
âWhat can I say, babe? It makes for a good story.â Wally leans over to quickly peck your cheek and you swat at his chest softly, still aware of Iris, Barry and Bart staring at the two of you. âBut jokes aside, I really could not just leave you crying like that, you know? With tears and possibly snot running down your face, you still looked beautiful to me.â Wally confesses earnestly causing you to blush again and Wally pulls you closer to him, slightly shielding you from his familyâs eyes. Though itâs actually pretty much useless since Barry is sitting across of you with Bart sitting beside him and Iris is sitting to Wallyâs right.
Iris tries very hard to hide her smile. Her heart warms as she looks at the both of you. Wally is just like her own son - he might as well be since she had practically helped to raise him up. She catches her husbandâs eyes and Iris smiles warmly at Barry. Seeing the two of you reminded Iris of just how much love she has for her own husband. âI am so happy for the both of you.â Iris smiles at the couple and Wally grins back at her, extremely relieved that she approved of you.Â
Wally turns to look at you and sees the small pout on your face and he chuckles, leaning forward to press his lips against yours chastely, causing you to pinch his thigh. âBabe!â Wally whines, pulling away to give you a look and you huff at him, crossing your arms. Iris laughs, shaking her head as she stands up.Â
âI hope everyone has rooms for desserts because I made a lot!âÂ
