#ourgingerlife Whiskey of the Week #5 comes with a couple friends since it's good to have friends on Christmas. My friends tonight can be found in the Polaroids. My daughter is standing herself on the Christmas tree in the Polaroid out front....in addition she is standing herself up on everything. She should be driving a vehicle in a few weeks at the rate she is going. My wife is all over the place up top. And we're all friends with the Wellers. From left to right the take a hike concerning price, ABV, and rarity. I'll probably never find another bottle of William Larue Weller, but I will milk this one for all it is worth. Weller is the "original wheated bourbon" which doesn't mean it is mostly made with wheat. A bourbon has to have at least 51% of the mash bill made from corn...but the secondary isn't rye or barley, but wheat. Get it? Even if you don't, there they are! The bunny in the background is because we love them and our kid is named after one! Fiver from Watership Down...which is better than any these whiskeys put together! Read it!
