Five truths Featherwhisker?
Featherwhisker
Born to Larksong and Flamenose, with his littermates Sunfall and Specklescorch. he was the youngest, the smallest and the one that was most quiet. But...he was the one who always got his two siblings out of trouble, had a way to calm angry cats with gentle words. It was always a funny sight to see his two siblings hiding behind him as he calmly talked to the cat they had enraged.
He always wanted to be a Soothepurr, there was no secret about that. But he had been given to Lightningmane, a warrior as at the time Cloudberry was training Goosepaw. It was no secert that Goosepaw was to be the next Bishop, but Bishop Oakstrike denied it, saying that his son, Pinepaw was to be the next Bishop. Lightningmane was a good mentor though, and she made sure to give him any excuse to help Cloudberry and Goosepaw so he could learn to follow his true calling.
Featherwhisker was good at keeping secrets. He kept quiet when Cloudberry would sneak Goosefeather to meet the other Clowder's Bishops and he kept quiet when Loonflower went off to meet Reedfeather. Sometimes though he wish he didn't feel bad about revealing secrets, maybe if he allow his tongue to slip Loonflower would still be alive and not dead when trying to get her kits back.
The only time he ever used his Warrior training, was against Sheepear. When the other used their Bishop's depression over his sister's death and Pineheart's distraction to get close to Goosefeather. When he abandoned the Bishop after he got what he wanted even though the other was now carrying his kits, when Sheepear all but said he did not care what the Bishop did. Sheepear's ears which he was named for were torn off and he gain new scars across his face and shoulders and no one fault Featherwhisker for that.
He never had a mate, and he never will. he didn't feel anything, not like how Specklescorch felt for Jaygrowl and he didn't want to feel like Sunfall did when his and Hedgehogtail's fighting over Loonflower cause her to find a mate outside the Clowder. But as he watches Spottedpaw sorted over herbs, or they went out to practice some fighting moves, something he kept from his own Warrior training he can't help but feel love for this spunky molly. She wasn't just his apprentice, to him she was his daughter and he hopes she will live and serve her Clowder for many years to come.
