This was my first ever half marathon. The amount of times I quit before the first hour had even passed was unreal. I had a major hate the whole time for the lady that talked me into doing it. Somewhere between the 1.9M and the 5.8M checkpoint, I was having fun. By mile 12, I was ready to give back up. And if you’re not familiar with the Marshall Half, you finish it with a football and running down the football field. I got into the stadium and got my football and was saying “hell no” due to the maze. But, I did my goal: I finished. I finished my very first half marathon, and now I’m getting prepared for my second.
This is going to be documenting my journey with running/walking and my weight loss journey.
