I did it! I ran a half marathon !π¨π―
21km half marathon baby!!!!!!
2:44:56 I crawledππ. Oh well we live to try. My half time is someone's full time π π ( no comparison becoming the thief of joy here, but worth a mention)
but we made it. Don't ask how am doing. Is every joint in my body achingly tender ? Yes, I have muscles activated I didn't know existed yoh! Nonetheless we proud, we happy, and this is just the beginning.
It's my first run since the Leeds Half Marathon back on the 10th May.π

I ran a 1/2 Marathon today
I just scrolled through my photos from the Barcelona half marathon in February again. I'm so smiley in some of those photos and I had such a good time there. I'm so glad I decided to do this and I really hope I can do it again.
If the Barcelona marathon is ever on a weekend that's during Easter break (pretty much impossible I think) or carnival (also not very likely), I'll do it and run a full marathon. And maybe I can sign up for the half marathon in Barcelona that year as well and figure out a way how to be back at work the next day.
Ah, I guess that won't ever be the case but if I'm ever to run a marathon, it's gotta be Barcelona (or New York City lol or Chicago also lol or Hamburg).
I COMPLETELy forgot to post here, but two weeks ago I ran my very first half marathon !! It was very hot and humid and several people had to go to the emergency room. I took it nice and slow and made sure to hydrate and take my gels, more than what I initially thought I'd need. I finished in 2hr36 minutes, which is nearly 10 minutes slower than my expected time, but I honestly couldn't care less, I am VERy proud!
