              Distant was the harrowing stage behind hues, they danced frantically whilst his expression dampened from the austere ruse he had habitually regarded her under. He stiffened under the lingering pain. Such an unsettling ache across his chest each time the spasm electrified his fibers with inflammation. Contorting features into a more perturbed flex, where brow affixed aloft frustration. He descended his gaze to register his own two hands amidst disbelief before capitulating her demand with a frail element in reason once he acknowledged truth behind her warning. They shook intensely over each strain he muscled stubbornly through.  “  I must tend to my children.. “ he objected rather tenaciously, even to his own considerate pause. Sliver of fear strangling the undertone , one aberrant to Charles Talent Manx -- or at least not a trait openly conveyed for all to witness.
