Kick Starting a Week with Fewer Days in It
Day 180 ā Monday, June 29, 2026 Story ā Leaning on Godās Strength When the Body Is Weak and the Week Is Short The week began without full strength. There was improvement from the days before, yet not full recovery ā a lingering tickle in the throat, a nose still prone to running. Even so, the focus remained fixed on God rather than on the symptoms, trusting Him for the wisdom needed in everyā¦

This is the second set of verses, following our last post! Our verses here will be Exodus 34:29ā35! 29Ā When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD.
30Ā When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant, and they were afraid to come near him.
31Ā But Moses called to them; so Aaron and all the leaders of the community came back to him, and he spoke to them.
32Ā Afterward all the Israelites came near him, and he gave them all the commands the LORD had given him on Mount Sinai.
33Ā When Moses finished speaking to them, he put a veil over his face.
34Ā But whenever he entered the LORDās presence to speak with him, he removed the veil until he came out. And when he came out and told the Israelites what he had been commanded,
35Ā they saw that his face was radiant. Then Moses would put the veil back over his face until he went in to speak with the LORD.
Explanation: Godās face was literally raidant to Moses; which was also the case for the Israelites, and Aaron. So much so that he had to put a veil over it!
This can also be a metaphor for how much of a presence God can make in our lives. While he might not shine as radiant to us as it did with moses, his face will shine brighter and become more evident as we soend more time with him.

Hello, everyone! How is everyone doing on this blessed day? As promised, we will be reading two sets of verses to make up for the missed day yesterday.
Our first set of verses are Leveticus 19:1-10!
1 TheĀ LordĀ said to Moses,Ā
2Ā āSpeak to the entire assembly of IsraelĀ and say to them: āBe holy because I, theĀ LordĀ your God, am holy.
3Ā āĀ āEach of you must respect your mother and father, and you must observe my Sabbaths. am theĀ LordĀ your God.
4Ā āĀ āDo not turn to idols or make metal gods for yourselves. I am theĀ LordĀ your God.
5Ā āĀ āWhen you sacrifice a fellowship offering to theĀ Lord, sacrifice it in such a way that it will be accepted on your behalf.Ā
6Ā It shall be eaten on the day you sacrifice it or on the next day; anything left over until the third day must be burned up. 7 If any of it is eaten on the third day, it is impure and will not be accepted.
8Ā Whoever eats it will be held responsible because they have desecrated what is holy to theĀ Lord; they must be cut off from their people.
9Ā When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest.
10Ā Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the foreigner. I am theĀ LordĀ your God.
Explanation: Here, God is explaining to Moses an important factor in Christianity - sacrifice. When sacrificing fruit, you must eat it on the day of itās sacrifice, or the next day itās supposed to. Anything left over will be sacrificed.
ā¦These are times where we can show Jesusā love to other people, and how we can treat other people! As God says in verses 9-10ā¦leave your leftovers to the poor and foreigner - or in other words, consider how youāll be kind to others consistently!

Hello, everyone! Thereās not much to say about todayā¦other than the fact weāre nearly there to July; hallelujah!
Our verse today is Pslams 91:9-16!
9Ā If you say, āThe LORD is my refuge,ā and you make the Most High your dwelling, 10Ā no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11Ā For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
12Ā they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. 13Ā You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. 14 āBecause he loves me,ā says the LORD, āI will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 āHe will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 āWith long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.ā
Explanation: Here, God explains how if you lean into his given shelter; he will protect you from harm, and any disaster in general - that he will send the guardian angels to lift you up high so that nothing shall touch you - even if itās just a simple stone to the foot.
While we may lose courage sometimes, we can lean and rely on God for his strength, because in whatever disaster weāre trapped in, heāll give us shelter for.

Hello, everyone! Weāre all nearly halfway out throughout June already; something to thank God for!
Our verses today are Nehemiah 2:17-18 and 3:6-12!
17Ā Then I said to them, āYou see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire.Ā Come, let us rebuild the wallĀ of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace.āĀ 18Ā I also told them about the gracious hand of my God on meĀ and what the king had said to me. They replied, āLet us start rebuilding.ā So they began this good work.
[ā¦]
6Ā The JeshanahĀ GateĀ was repaired by Joiada son of Paseah and Meshullam son of Besodeiah. They laid its beams and put its doors with their bolts and bars in place.
7Ā Next to them, repairs were made by men from GibeonĀ and MizpahāMelatiah of Gibeon and Jadon of Meronothāplaces under the authority of the governor of Trans-Euphrates.Ā
8Ā Uzziel son of Harhaiah, one of the goldsmiths, repaired the next section; and Hananiah, one of the perfume-makers, made repairs next to that. They restored Jerusalem as far as the Broad Wall.Ā
9Ā Rephaiah son of Hur, ruler of a half-district of Jerusalem, repaired the next section.
10Ā Adjoining this, Jedaiah son of Harumaph made repairs opposite his house, and Hattush son of Hashabneiah made repairs next to him.Ā
11Ā Malkijah son of Harim and Hasshub son of Pahath-Moab repaired another section and the Tower of the Ovens.Ā
12Ā Shallum son of Hallohesh, ruler of a half-district of Jerusalem, repaired the next section with the help of his daughters.
Explanation: Nehemiah in these set of verses had found out that the wall surrounding Jerusalem had collapsed, and he called out to God for guidance - and after some investigation, he gathered a group of people around him to help.
Why does this matter? Itās because this shows us how just having people close to you and willing to help can impact a bigger community around us. The leaders and people Nenemiah recruited all helped willingly, and side by side.
This shows us that under Godās guidanceā¦we too, can impact the people around us, and again, a larger community.
